Need some help with my new laptop :)

I've recently recieved a laptop. An Aspire 5552 (AMD Phenom (tm) II X4 N950, Ati mobility radeon (tm) HD 4250, 4 GB DDR3 Memory) And i seem to get random issue's with games like WoW for example. My FPS suddently drop, stuttering screen . One moment i can play just fine (I put everyone on good, except for shadows) and the other moment i'm stuttering even when i put my options on low.

The drivers were pre-installed. I tried instaling CCC and updating drivers graphic drivers.

What kind of temperatures are you running? Sounds like it could possibly be an overheating issue if the driver's aren't what's causing problems. Does it happen after playing for a while, or can it happen immediately? Also, is it just WoW or other games as well?

You can check the heat of your laptop by using a program such as SpeedFan.

I'd say similar, most modern GPU/CPU's have thermal throttling. If they get too hot they slow down rather than dying from overheating.

I installed speedfan the second i got it and the temperatures are fine and currently i'm not playing another game that's asking as much from this laptop as wow. I've played League of legends and such but that's fine and i pretty much make sure the laptop has enough airflow when i play on it.

Edit : I'm not sure if this has something to do with it but when i open my task manager i notice my wow it taking up 700k + memory. Which seems to be a lot higher than it was on my pc.

Speedfan sucks in my opinion, it has given me false temperatures, at least it seemed so after I started suing HW Monitor. There was a 5/10 degrees difference.

Hmmm, Yep i've heared of Speedfan being off on temps on all. But since i just bought this laptop (And even when its not hot at all) i get these problems. And it's brand new so i dont really get why i'm having these problems
