can not get power aura to enable

I had used it in the past but had forgotten it.
well I loaded the newest and copied in my settings but all I get in big read letters power auras disabled.
I turned off blizzard auras thinking maybe that was the problem but did nothing.
I type in \powa and get disabled and can not get it to enable.

If I'm understanding you right, you disabled an aura? If so, Shift+left click it and it will re-enable.

no they are enabled but it says that power auras is disabled.
I thought I would type /powa enabled but it says power auras disabled.
ok on the interface menu there is a box to click for enabled.
I click it and it has a check box but when I shut it nothing.
I go back in and its not checked.
I am going to remove and reinstall...

I did have problems with Power Auras, some of my auras didn't want to show. I found out that some of addons can make it not to work properly, so maybe you can try with only running Power Auras.

I feel like you have a different power auras addon. I don't think you can enable or disable it via command lines. As others have suggested though, try turning all your other addons off except power auras and see what happens.

I re installed it and went to the main config. Hit enable and exited, then when back and the check was still there.
I imported my strings and it seems to work now.
I did not disable any other addons so it was just a bug or strange setting or something.
