Background

Guild type: 10 man raiding guild
Guild exp: Level 25
Guild perks: Cauldron, Seafood feast, herald, Phoenix mount, Golden King, etc.

What we're looking for:

Healers: Principally a Holy or Disc Priest and Resto druid - experienced resto shaman apps too.
Melee: Deathknight - preferably with a Blood off-spec (and experience tanking) - also look at Rogue applications.

Who are we?

We're a small guild formed in April 2007 from the raiding core of a much larger older guild. We've been stable since that time with relatively low turnover. While being very much the underdogs at the start with no desire for great progression we ended TBC as realm second (Mu'ru phase-2 pre-nerf). In WotLK we once more ended overall realm No. 2, only LK HC 25 was left alive.

In Cataclysm we took the decision to switch to ten man raiding. We're looking to recruit to bolster our ranks after some long term members called an end to their WoW time.

When do we raid?

Presently we have four raiding nights - this allowed us to maintain a slightly larger roster while giving everyone at least two to three raids per week. This remains under review but in general you can expect three raids each week.

Our raiding times are now 20:50 to 00:00 game time. A significant number of our players are UK based so the slightly later start means less rushing. We do however expect those selected to be on time!

We use the EPGP loot distribution system - after raiding for several years we've found this to be the least stressfull and "fairest" method.

What do we expect?

We expect you to sign for three raids (on average) per week. Outside of raiding we like to see people online to do heroics, etc. Despite our small size we have a very dedicated core of players who do their best to reach the guild xp cap, run heroics, etc.

What can we offer?

A typically friendly atmosphere with peeps who've played the game for many years. A dedicated mumble server, web site and forum, etc.
