Alpha of Whisperwind is a top 50/100 US guild that is currently 13/13 mixed 10 & 25 heroics. We have ranked as high as 15th in the US this expansion, and are currently US #84 at the end of T11 content.
Whisperwind is a CST PvE server and our raid times are 7pm to 11pm CST, M-Th. We are currently recruiting all classes and functions. Relevant gear and experience are desired, but we would consider an application that shows promise. Open spots are for every day raiding positions. All members are expected to earn their raid slots...continually.
About Alpha
Alpha is a progression minded guild that has enjoyed success over the years and understands how to stay competitive in the ever changing World of Warcraft. We have historically been in the top 50 US peaking as high as #6 at the start of Wrath.
The membership is comprised of a diverse group ranging mostly in the early to mid 20's with your occasional senior citizen in their 30's. We are pretty open on vent and expect someone to be able to interact socially and contribute a personality to the guild. We have our pvp'ers and altaholics and social members who do not actively raid with the guild. We are very dedicated to alts and use them for progression purposes when needed.
Application Process
Our application period is 30 days, which can be extended (or shortened) as needed. We will give all accepted applicants ample chance to prove they should stay on as a member. During this time applicants may receive items and are encouraged to be active with the guild during raids AND during off hours.
Our application format is free form, that is...we ask you to think about what you want to say to us, about what you feel is important that we should know, and hopefully gives you a chance to show us you can communicate at above a 3rd grade level. There is a sample "good" application to model off of as we are not totally cruel.
Loot and such
We use a tiered bidding dkp system which we feel promotes attendance and longevity. Tiers are very generous and a new member can quickly advance through the tiers almost immediately after their application period ends.
Serious need for a competent shadow priest. Need everything else listed as well. Will be on all day/evening and can expedite your app; talk to me in game.
