We are currently looking for:
• We are looking for a Protection Warrior that is geared and skilled enough to fulfil a Main-Tank role. You should be vocal, have an in-depth knowledge of game mechanics, and feel extremely comfortable adapting to any new mechanics that get thrown at you.
• A Holy Priest that knows where best to place their Lightwell, that can tank or Raid Heal as needed, and quickly adapts to changes. Off-Spec of Discipline would be a good bonus, however you should expect to nearly always be required as Holy, primarily Raid Healing while perhaps assisting in Tank healing. You should be great at maximising Body and Soul usage, including Life Gripping people when necessary - basically a great awareness of what is going on around you.
• A Restoration Druid with a Balance Off-Spec. You should excel at raid healing, but also be able to assist in tank healing. You will regularly be required to play as Balance, and so you should be equally adept at DPS too.
• A Restoration Shaman with either preferably an Elemental Off-Spec, though Enhancement is also acceptable. You may occasionally be required to interrupt spells while healing and of course maximising Mana-Tide usage for the overall raid's benefit, you will most likely be doing equal parts raid and tank healing.
Please note that we really can't take on any other classes than we have listed, so please don't apply unless you are one of the classes listed, as we really can't accommodate other classes, even if you are an awesome player.
We expect:
We first and foremost want people that have a good sense of humour
Knowing your class. Preferably all three specs to a decent standard. As we are a small guild, off-specs are often used in our raids.
You should have decent knowledge and experience of the current raiding tier. We don't care how awesome you were in Vanilla, we just want to know how much you know now.
Have your character up to standard. It should be obvious, but if your character doesn't have appropriate gems and enchants without reason, then you aren't what we're looking for. To expand upon this, you also need to ensure that you are always doing the most to maximise your character's potential, reading relavent forums, changing gems, talents, and gear as appropriate.
We have a small raid team, so we need all of our members to be able to, as much as possible attend all our raids.
Your gear needs to be up to par and ready for heroic raids; generally most slots, if not all at ilvl359 or better. Extra points awarded for looking like a Lumberjack!
English is the primary language of the guild, so you'll need to be able to effectively communicate in English.
You need to be able to use Ventrilo to communicate, this means both listening and the ability talk when it's necessary.
We primarily only raid Monday - Thursday, but some times we may call an additional raid on a Sunday, or even extend our raids by a short period, so you should be prepared and willing to raid extra if needed.
The Lumberjacks currently reside on the European Arathor server, as part of the Alliance.
We are currently 7/13 on heroic 10 player.
We are a guild that raids purely 10 player raid instances.
Our normal raid hours are: Monday-Thursday 19:45-23:00 (Server Time). We occasionally do an additional raid on Sunday.
We use the EPGP Loot System.
A small, skilled team of active raiders.
We primarily work as a team - we aren't here to give you an easy ride to epics.
A multi-gender, multi-nation community that communicates only in English.
Our aim is primarily to have fun, but ensure that we do the best we can, progress as much as we can, and to always push for these things. We want to be raiding the heroic content, the hardest content we can get our hands on, within the 10 player area.
