There are people (and I know I'm guilty of it as well) who will use one product and not another even though they are the same. TV's, clothes, cars, and computers are just a few examples of things people would choose one over the other even though they are exactly the same.

Does chrome have noscript and adblocker addons/built in? *looks* Oh it appears like it has the potential, maybe I'll switch over and have a play when I'm bored one time. Kinda happy with the setup I have with FF atm.

In the anti-IE debate, I was helping out my (novice) father with a few issues on his laptop, loaded up his browser to find out something and got a popup. A popup! I checked and he has IE8, hasn't tinkered with the settings - so by default, IE still allows popups! I could not believe a browser in the 21st century still allows this.

Firefox all the way. Changed from Opera to FF with v4.0 since it loads now equally fast and got almost the same look now :P

Chrome, this is what happens when you pay your programmers 140k$/year

i have both chrome and firefox on this PC and another with crap hardware, on this PC Chrome loads (chrome.exe) 3 time faster than Firefox and pages loads 10-20% faster, on the other PC it's even better (firefox takes ages to load while chrome is almost instant)

plus i hate the "we need to restart the browser for the updates" shit

If Firefox could do THIS instantly when I open it, I might consider changing

What about those reg numbers you get from google for the first time surfing with chrome? Or did they removed that already? What do I have to install with chrome (realy needed antispyware and adblock spam mainly)? Thanks for help, sounds realy interesting with all the speed from the browser.

I have always used firefox for its addons, long before chrome was made. I guess chrome can handle the same addons, but why change. Firefox and Chrome look alot alike to me.
