What is the most unique food you've ever eaten

    I've eaten the following -

    - Balut ( A balut is a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell )
    - Frog legs ( Taste like chicken! )
    - Fried ants ( My this is spicy! )
    - Live squid
    - A spider... <.<

    Well now, your turn?

why would u eat live animals? its just fucked up tbh. im not a vegetarian, in fact im a irl hunter, but i would never ever be so disrespectful against an animal to eat it alive.

I havn't eaten many strange things.

I tried a raw oyster once, freshly caught. Tasted like a combination of boogers and piss.

Why would you even eat half of that though seriously :S

Fried ants and spiders....I honestly don't see the need to eat that apart from the fact that you get to boast about eating them (like you are with this thread)

As for the live squid and Balut I find that quite disturbing, are you the sort of guy that tortures animals in your shed? cause that's how you come across to me.

It's quite normal to eat those kinds of dishes in korea for example. I'd assume he tried them there.

Not every country share the same ideals as us in the west, deal with it.

    Not really mate

The Chinese have been eating Balut for thousands of years. The french have been doing it for hundreds of years. Plenty of cultures do weird food.

Im british and ive had steak and Kidney pie, Black pudding and pickled eggs.

I wouldnt even class it as as you put it "disturbing".

Finding new food sources is a good thing, so we dont have to keep that many cows or sheep for meat. Finding protein from other sources is good.

Yeah! It's okay there so it must mean we should accept it as okay everywhere!
