You tank Riplimb right to the side of the trap. As soon as the spear icon shows up on the ground, strafe left or right (depending on trap obv) Riplimb is frozen, when he breaks free, he goes and grabs spear, runs to shannox. That amount of time should be enough for the Shannox tank to drop his stacks. While all that is going on, the Riplimb tank needs to locate the next frost trap and position himself by it. All the trap in between at that point wont be an issue, as Riplimb will have the debuff from when you just froze him.

By the time Shannox's spear icon appears on the ground again, Riplimb will no longer have the debuff. Riplimb tank again strafes Riplimb into frost trap, rinse repeat.
Easy enough! Thanks a ton to all!

So we should work on killing Rageface first, that way he cannot step on a trap? If not, how do you circumvent this?

What we did tonight, was we killed Rageface off right away, made it easier for the healers, and for the tanks to control the traps. While we didn't kill him, we managed to get below 50%

Only problem we encountered was that the traps litterally wouldn't activate even if the dogs were on top of them for several seconds, which caused us to wipe when the tanks had 10+ stacks.

Thanks to Elyaan for the great sig!

Are you sure it's not due to the trap immunity they get for 15 sec whenever a trap is triggered?

From what we noticed, that didn't seem to be the case. But I can't deny if that might've been the case.

That happens faster than you think... I was on "riplimb-duty" yesterday and also had (especially while rageface was still there... burned him first) the problem, that riplimb would often trigger a firetrap.. Let your fellow raiders help you looking for "good" frosttraps (so without that many firetraps around them) then it shouldn't be a problem... i got up to 17+ Stacks, but it worked. As soon as rageface is dead, the debuff-dropping shouldn't be a problem anymore.
