LUA Errors

Is there any addon that hides the lua errors instead of just popping them up in the middle of the screen?

Theres a box you uncheck under help in the interface.

You're actually able to turn those off in the interface settings. I forget exactly where it is and I can't log into wow to find out since I am at work (yeah, I work nights so I have plenty of down time to troll forums ^_^), but I know its there.

Wouldn't it be funny though if there was such an addon and it caused lua errors when it worked? haha. the irony.

Imho, the default hiding of Lua errors, is the bane of every addon author

Like ayako implied, errors should be fixed, not ignored. They will keep slowing down the game, or even crash it, especially for addons that work with COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED (e.g. Recount, Omen)

In any case, I suggest using BugSack or Swatter for debugging/hiding these errors
