Will this computer run wow ? (LAPTOP)

First of all the aspects of the laptop : (Yes I just copy pasted them)

Processor Intel Core i5-460M (2.53 GHz)

Operating system Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

Display 15.6'' LED HP Bright view Widescreen

    Memory 4GB DDR3

    Hard disk 500GB

Graphic card ATI Radeon HD 530V DDR3 512 MB

    Connection Wireless Lan (802.11 b/g/n)

    DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) Lightscribe

    HDMI

    Webcam & Microphone

    Ethernet Gigabit 10/100/1000

    Card Reader

I want a computer that will be able to run WoW smoothly at like 60 fps with decent settings . And since I don't have a lot of money to spent I've found this laptop and wondering if I will be able to play wow on this .

    P.S. No I won't get a desktop PC .

First off, a computer for the same amount of money would probably play WoW better, I don't get how people seem to think buying a more expensive laptop means it equals PCs in that pricerange. If you don't think this, then pardon me, your last sentences just sound a little like that. =L

Onto the main question: Yes, it will run WoW. I'm not sure about 60 fps at "decent" settings. I don't know what "decent" is.... but I'll just say right now, probably not. Low to Low/medium is probably your best bet for 60 FPS. However, 60 FPS also depends a lot on WHERE you are. If you're in a populated SW/Orgrimmar, or in a 25 man raid, I assure you, that laptop will crumble if you try pushing the graphics higher at all.

If any other regulars here in the computer forums disagree with me, well have at it, this will probably be my last post for the entire day. (huge busy day, so you win automatically lololol).

It will run it, have been running WoW on even lower spec laptops, only problem is SW/Org and so on. And @DeltrusDisc not all people want a thing that takes whole desk just to run a video game better...

A whole desk? :P I think you also mean desktop PC's run cooler and perform FAR better. Besides, laptop hardware is typically obsolete 3-6 months after you even buy it in comparison to desktop hardware.

    yup, you're fine.

Wow is a really intensive processor game.

an i5 and a decent video card, and you'll be golden.

Wow's graphics have became more detailed but its still the same engine and it honestly doesn't take too much to run it in high quality settings/ultra.

EDIT: Don't listen to all of this flame war over laptops>=<Desktops.

Real men use both. End thread.
