    Presence of Malorne

    I've been doing some of the new Hyjal dailies and I noticed a random buff after a few minutes. The buff states that your next ability that has a chance to critically strike will do so. I'm currently on my boomkin, yet... 99% of the time my next ability will not crit at all. The buff stays there until I do, however, get a critical strike by RNG. Then it goes away until I pass through another ghastly elk-looking creature.

    no its not.

    when you talk to the ghost thing of malorne at the quest hub in hyjal it gives you the buff, or when you get ran into by one of the malorne spirits running around hyjal, it gives you the buff

    I have also noticed it dosnt 'work' like it says it should.

    No, it's a different spell unique to the Regrowth.

    According to the Wowhead comments, the effect is currently broken.

    Negative, I had it show up on my rogue today while doing my dailies. I think it has something to do with the ghostly, untargetable stags that run through the Regrowth.

    I noticed this too while playing my Priest, and it doesn't seem to give me a Crit. I think it might be increasing the Crit chance, but it's not a definite Crit.
