What do "non nerds" think about all day?

As a nerd myself, my mind is permanently preoccupied with stuff that really doesn't have much to do with reality.

Considering how much time each day our minds are idle, I'm left to wonder what "non-nerds" think about all day. I mean I'm constantly thinking about various video games, movies, TV shows and books, spend hours arguing on the internet and generally "geeking out" about various things.

I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with this.

Now I know that while a lot of people have some dedicated hobby, most people I have gotten to know over the years have not. Yes, they might enjoy a certain TV show in particular or have a fetish for fashion but it's really not enough to be considered an actually hobby.

That leaves we wondering what these people think about all day. What goes on in their head when they have a hour long bus ride ahead of them and they forgot to bring a book. If they, for some reason, are forced to spend a weekend at home, what do they do all day?

Honestly, I sometimes feel sad for "normal" people. Their world seems so limited in a way.

But then again they tend to actually get things done...

"Non-nerds" may well have the same thoughts as you have. It's part of human nature to think about things that verge into the esoteric and to be thinkers rather than doers. It's not like a guy who plays sports can't be deep, too.

And on the flip-side, there are plenty of "nerds" who are "normal".

Yes, they are so limited by their desire to make money, run government, rule the world. You wouldn't know because you consider having a fetish for fashion as normal. Besides, which people are you talking about? Male or female? What race? What's normal varies based on gender, race, nationality.

to go back to topic: I read a lot of manga, watch animes, go to the university, got some friends, dont live at home, go to the gym and on top of that, I still play WoW... it's just that you have to portion it properly, so that one thing does not take over your whole daily life.
From time to time, even I have a "nerd" "otaku" or "geek" phase... call it whateve you want... where I watch animes 16 hours a day. But that happens like 2 times in a year, so I think im perfectly fine.
What do I think about right now? How I should get back to my hometown because I got some paperwork to be done, so I can start my holidays without too much probs.
