For those more adventurous gamers out there who might still remember the original Planetside from 2003 might be excited to know that Planetside 2 is due to be announced soon: http://www.planetside2.com/

Planetside 1 was one of the few MMO-FPS worth noting and while receiving mixed reviews upon release, has managed to hang on for quite a while now.

With the MMO market having grown so much since then, and internet connections being a lot more potent, Planetside 2 could be a real step forward for the genre.
