I do not know if it's true or not. Can someone confirm or deny what happens when they tried "Using" the stone on a valor item that's not a relic/wand/throwing?

Had a chat with a GM aswell and he said nothing but the vendor shit can be done so yeah...

talked to a gm, too. he said: only items avaible are at the vendor.
no using on other items.
wowhead took the items out of comparison (eg heroic rep cloak, heroic valor ring)

GMs being useless because they have 10.9 million casuals to hold the hands of, nothing particularly new. I'm surprised you actually got one to speak to you directly.
Anyways, I can't confirm or deny anything until at least next week, but luckily for me my first firestones are going right onto my Obsidium Cleavers. mmm

currently we got 1 drop out of 4 kills (10-man).
another guild got 0 drops out of 3 kills (25-man).
on wowhead users posted: droprate isn't like intended by blizz.
my guess: it should where between 75 and 100% for 10-man - at least 1 up to 3 for 25-man.

Does the firestone take the place of a dropped item or is it in addition? ie 2 items + firestone in 10

its heroic only though yes for the firestones i mean?

Extra piece of loot - doesn't replace an item on the loot table.
We recieved Caster Chest/Random Mail Shoulders/Firestone/Living & Eternal Ember from Heroic Beth'tilac for example.

4 bosses on heroic 25, dont think we got a single firestone. It cant be that low of a droprate surely, it's gotta be bugged.
