Do most of your favorite characters share a trait?

I'm just kind of wondering, do your favorite fictional characters have a certain thing in common? Make a list of 10 favorite fictional characters, not neccesarily a top 10, and then see if most of them have physical or personality traits in common. It could be as simple as most of them wear glasses or most of them have a non human skin color, or things such as they overcame huge obstacles before the story started to get where they are or are prone to explosive anger.

Eh, give or take Buffy and #10 they're all either anti-heroes or outright villains. They all look great too.

Well, Take out Lothar and they are all pretty much Anti-heroes or villians. Urahara is kinda up in the air though on what his character exactly is.
They all are very intelligent, although several are downright insane.
