    Upgrading to i5-2500k

Planning on upgrading to an i5-2500k and this is what I've come up with so far:

    CPU/Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.660727

    RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231277

    Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371016

    Graphics Card:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130571

    Total: 582 after rebates

I'm just looking for opinions/suggestions. I mainly just play WoW and some occasional Steam games right now, though I am planning on playing SWTOR, GW2, Diablo 3, etc. No intentions of SLI or overclocking atm.

Already have a case, HD, dvd drive, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Budget is preferably less than $600 after rebates.

Looks good to me, at least for your budgets sake. I would however personally up the ram to at least 6Gb as 4 can be a bit low for a 64bit system (or even 8 as RAM tends to be really cheap these days). Also, do you have a OS? Mind that Win7 is around $100.

Also, do you plan to OC?

I think you can get the 460 from EVGA's B-Stock for like $90-$100 if you're looking to cut costs more.

    Edit : Looks like its $120 for a 460 now. If you're curious this is EVGA's B-Stock stuff http://www.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20

I'm considering 8gb seeing as it's only around 20 more. And yes I have my OS and everything on my HD i'll be using.

No complaints about the PSU, the RAM, or the GPU. FIRE ZE MISSILES!
