[Movies] Great movies ruined by terrible endings

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Sunshine was an amazing movie about humanity denying entropy its inevitable victory - about clawing at the cliff's edge until our fingers bled and our resolve risked being broken beneath the weight of such an enormous burden as rescuing an entire species and every record of our accomplishments from total oblivion for all eternity.

And then they turned it into a thriller slasher movie for the last half hour. I was not impressed.

But man, dat adagio.

The Village, whole movie was building up to something very scary and incredible, but they just ended it with probably the worst possible outcome..

The Fifth Element. So great for most of the movie then goes into total cheese mode.

I dont see anything wrong with The Fifth Element's ending, mabye its just me..

bad endings.. the last matrix movie, the last two movies starring leo di caprio (shutter Island and Inception).. What is it with di caprio and shitty movies / endings?!
