Good Headset for Less than $100?

Hey guys, looking for a new headset for my gaming PC, and I'm looking for something under $100 with good bass and general good sound quality.

But I noticed the G35's have their own sound card, and I assume it couldn't compete with my computer's sound card

What would you guys recommend? ATM I really like the G35's especially at almost 50% off

Also do you have a speaker system you also want to hear while wearing your headset? (or other "background" sounds you need to hear?)

One is open-ear and the other is closed-ear, other than that they're identical.
Went through a dozen different ones before I found some that wouldn't hurt after 16+ hours :P
Sound is good on them.. one thing to be aware of though is the plastic can break if you pull the headphones too far apart when putting it on or taking it off... had that happen to my first pair but haven't had a problem now that I'm careful lol

This headset is very comfortable, certainly when compared to the Sennheiser I had in it's price range (though the Sennheiser did have a better mic).
