    Beth'ilac 10 man normal

Is this encounter doable with only 2 healers?

yes it is. But that requires good gear and gameplay for the whole raid.

    Beth'tilac with two healers

Holy Pala and Restoration Shaman, who even dies once during the fight.

Maybe if they are two pro-as-hell healers, but even then it's real sketchy. One would def have to be a resto druid.

Any reason why you would want to try when it's easily downed with three healers?

Yes, it's very easily two healable. My guild does it with a Resto Shaman (myself) on the bottom, and a Resto Druid up top. It's actually quite fun to two heal it, and it isn't too bad at all. We're both around 360 ilvl, so nothing crazy. I normally enter P2 with around 60% mana and that's plenty to get through the burn.

    EDIT:

Your RDPS needs to be ~ 100K to down Beth (in p2, my raid group easily passes 150K RDPS).

If you can't do that between 2 tanks and 5 DPS, your raid group needs to improve gear/skill.
Just another bad mage playing his class badly...

@ Saegno - we seem to be having DPS issues so i figured we try going with 2 heals and 6 dps

We are consistently hitting the 10% mark but by then the frenzy stacks are too high

Judging by the progression of that guild the shaman and pally are very, very likely rolling into that fight in 372+, which I highly doubt the OP's healers are. Tranquility is too good when you have undergeared healers on that fight.

Your healers, especially the shaman, are incredible (shaman is probably one of the best in the world) and are, no offense, doing the heavy lifting in those logs you listed.

a quick question or hint, when you hit P2, b4 the boss comes down for the last time, prioritise the little adds, if the boss comes down and the adds hit the boss they will heal it back up to full.
