Hola!
The title says it, is there a reason why a wand with the name Trail of Embers deals shadow instead of fire damage?
Or is it just as dumb as it sounds?
(well, frost would be dumber).

Well. A shadowis sometimes used to describe a palimpsest, a shadow of a thign that once was. Just my thought.
Well ok, "Trail" could be associated with Shadow.
Imo the "Embers"-->"Fire" part prevails
Who shoots wands anymore anyway?

A lot of wands don't seem to make sense. Scorchvine Wand (the other VP one) kinda implies fire and/or nature but also deals Shadow...
Whenever I or one of my friends thinks something in WoW doesn't make any sense, we just say "Naaru-Blessed Life Rod".
Haha I didn't even notice that, the bolt it shoots looks like fire, but it says Shadow Damage...
Something from Firelands that doesn't do fire damage?
omg ;_;
