Here, ioDrive Octal.
1.1million IOPS, whereas the Vertex 3 has an advertised 70k IOPS.
-edit- George didn't post yet when I was typing, I swear -_-'
I thought you couldn't buy it as a home-consumer, only as a company?

Ya that 2. Buying from Dell there supposedly 15k.
I found a ioDrive Duo.
But you would have to call to find out how much for that
[QUOTE=DeltrusDisc;12341844]I must have it..... where's the price?[/QUOTE
I believe its one of those: If you have to ask, you can't afford it. that said buying anything as a company is dead easy... it's not like they're actually difficult to setup. (not in england anyway)
my thoughts on the octal's cost:
it actually comes down to cost and performance, in that respect they are very cheap, that is, compared to a normal data storage server with mechanical drives, it costs more, but is WAY faster, and if you were to build a data server with 500GB SSD's the cost would be astronomical, the one downside is that you need a compatible OS to use them, so one of the best uses for them, virtual desktop delivery, can't use them, as of last time i checked, only microsoft's hyper-v is compatible, and its not very good compared to xendesktop
here's my stance on it for a gaming computer: if you line your cat's litter box with hundreds, get one, otherwise there are cheaper alternatives, such as RAMdisk software, which is $14.99, but you really need 48-64GB of ram, or run a quad/hex SSD RAID0
