Nvidia Duel GTX 580, or 1 GTX 590, no overclocking, questions.

Hey guys, im interested in purchasing some new graphic cards to upgrade my current PC.

    PSU:Corsair 750HX
MBO: asus p8p67 deluxe rev 3.0
    GPU:Gigabyte Nvidia GTX570
    RAM: 8GB G.SKILL RIPJAW X, 1600MHZ
    CPU: Intel I5 2500 3.30 GHZ

I was wondering what would be better, Dual SLI GTX 580 or 1 GTX 590 (might consider getting two), Money isnt an issue, but iv been hearing allot of bashing on the GTX 590 that it is down-clocked and such, but also another thing is, iv been told that my computer wouldnt benefit from DUEL SLI because it would get bottle necked or something. anyone have any input or information on that, and also what would you suggest with regards to graphics card purchase?

thank you for your help .

edit: Dual not duel, Herp derp.

First, it's dual, not duel. Duel is like slapping someone with a glove and challenging them to a duel. Yes the 590 is basically two 580 chips on one board, but downclocked to reduce power usage and heat. A 580 will likely not have bottlenecking issues on an 8x PCIe slot, which is what would happen if you used two. A 590 by itself would be at 16x, so no issue there, but two might be an issue as some dual GPU cards can possibly be bottlenecked going down to 8x PCIe.

simply put: 2 580's are better then one 590, and it takes 4 580's to beat 2 590's

for a gaming rig though the 590 is better mainly because it doesn't need as much power as two 580's, and it leaves PCIe slots open for soundcards, raid controllers, and network cards
