Borderlands View

I just purchased Borderlands through Steam for Windows 7, and It's a really fun game so far, except that the standard view when traveling around is too far zoomed in. It gives me a headache trying to play this on a 27 inch widescreen, as you can imagine. Is there any possible way to change the game files to make the default view less zoomed in? Perhaps the way it looks when you sprint and it zooms out?

This is a common problem with 'FOV' which stands for Field of View. I'm not sure if Borderlands has a console but I remember in HL2 you had a fov command that you could set.
