    Help With a Case

It's time to upgrade my case. Right now I'm using a CM 690 II case with a bunch of extra fans installed, but I want to upgrade to something a little bit higher quality. I want to spend less than $150. I want a case similar to this:

I need a side window, a clean look to the case, and good airflow. I do NOT want a case that is built around watercooling, and I DEFINITELY don't want anything too flashy/gaudy looking (like the HAF X or DF 85). In addition, I want a case that is either a mid tower or a small full tower; I don't have a TON of room in my dorm.

I was thinking about buying a Silverstone RV03 and painting the gold strips black, but I have a heatpipe-style video card and I've heard that those don't work well with its rotated motherboard design. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Just to clear things up:
    = bad
    = good

Those cases you listed all are WAY too gaudy for me. I want something a hell of a lot sleeker than that.

IF you can squeeze a bit more money over that 150$ limit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811139006 Is definitely worth it. Great build quality.

Some ideas here... not very familiar with mid tower comp cases. Hope i helped.

Lol I saw. You should look into Fractal Design stuff if you liked the sleek black on though.

Lian Li Lancool PC-K58W (and others in the PC-K series): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112238
    Xigmatek Pantheon Black: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811815010

You'd have a much easier time finding something sleek if you didn't require the side window.

Yuck, I need something more ornate than just plain black. Looks like my Dell from 1999 ...

    But whatever floats yo' boat.

well if the window makes it impossible, forget about the window. I can always mod it later.

According to the reviews it's good at keeping things cool. Only comes with one fan so you'll need to pick up extras. Well, the one I looked at only had the one.

OP, that Maingear case is a modded RV01. Too flashy for you?

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...63135&Tpk=RV01

There's also 650D (which I want for my next build)

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...39006&Tpk=650D

    Or this

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163121

both aren't super-awesome at air cooling but they're good

EDIT - WELp I did not see the $150 limit. Ah well, these are still good! lol

Pretty much any Corsair case. But they'll be over budget unless you can find it on sale.

ncix has a sale on the 600t http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...r&promoid=1304. But it ends today
