    First computer build, need some help =]

    Hey guys,
    So basically looking to build my first computer, mainly it's just gonna be for WoW, but I want to run everything on Ultra if possible, not nessesarily shadows though.
    The specs I want ideally is:
    4gb+ ram
    1gb video card
    1tb hard drive
    Quad core processor

    That's effectively what I need, what I'm looking for is suggestions for what products I need with links/prices if possible. I'm living in England so preferably need prices in pounds. =]

    If it's not already obvious, I'm a complete noob to this, my main concern is getting a load of parts, then finding out that the power supply isn't enough or something like that =P

    Thanks in advance for the help. [=

    There -> http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...pot-quot-Build

    $700 build is at the bottom end of your desires, $1000 right smack in the middle and $1500 bit more than you asked for. Playing WoW comfortably at ultra settings or nearby in 25-man raids is pretty demanding, and will not happen with cheap-ass computer. $500 build will be barely enough for 5/10 man content at high/ultra settings, but will have problems in 25's.

    Remember that those prices do not include mouse, keyboard, monitor and OS. Those will cost around $300-500 more depending on how good stuff you want.

    You haven't mentioned a budget but I can give you this : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...=43&catid=2053

    Lots of choices if you want to build a PC yourself. I've used overclocked bundles from here before and they are great. So choose a bundle with a reasonable price to leave room for whatever else you need. You haven't mentioned if you are keeping anything or not. Also, these guys do full system builds so you can find a good PC in your price range here too

    If you are looking to build yourself and you're afraid about the PSU not being enough, use this : http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
