Balance is one of the few guilds that can say that we have been around since the start of WoW some six years ago. In this time we have taken a huge amount of realm firsts since the defeat of C'thun in Ahn'Qiraj all that time ago!
The history section on our forums will give an insight into our former past, including securing realm first Algalon and realm first Deaths Demise and a respectable world top 30 for A Tribute to Insanity. In addition, Balance became the world's fourth guild and EU Alliance first to gain the Tribute to Immortality achievement.
What we expected of you:
* A high level of attendance for all raids, while we understand not everyone can make absolutely all of our raids, the best geared and most proficient at their role tend to be people with close to 100% attendance in Balance.
* Our raid times are 19:00 - 00:00 for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. These times change for progress raids in which we often start raids earlier or extend the finishing time as per the guild's needs.
* The ability to learn from your mistakes, we are all human and even the most skilled player can make a mistake once in awhile. However, the difference is that the 'skilled' player can adapt and is unlikely to make the same mistake again.
* You should have a good level of raiding experience. Typically the better players that apply to us have played since vanilla or at least the start of the Burning Crusade. If you have only been playing since Wrath of the Lich King, we will expect you to be on top of your game.
* Balance is a social guild, you will be expected to integrate within our structure, a raid-logger is not some thing we are typically after. We tend to do a lot of Rated Battlegrounds, Arenas and achievements in our spare time.
* You must be able to speak English fluently and not just within a chat box i.e. you will be required to use your microphone at times.
