Below is a handful of information about the guild <Ascend> on Cho'gall server. <Ascend> is a 25 man progression-oriented guild with progression-minded players looking for more.
A MESSAGE FROM ME:
Let me just be honest here, I'm not an officer in this guild. I recently joined <Ascend> after being agitated with my old guild's unorganized, uncommitted, and lack-of-skill players. <Ascend> has been nothing but the opposite. I volunteered to post here as I am active on these forums and I could not be more pleased with the decision I made to transfer to this guild. The bold statement below starting with "ARE YOU RIGHT FOR US?" is 100% accurate. If you enjoy being competitive with your class, discussing boss strategies with guildmates that are dedicated to executing them, and looking at the bigger picture (progression), then <Ascend> is the right guild for you. If not, continue to the next topic. <Ascend> raids on a tight, semi-casual schedule that has had 0 downtime in raid and uses its 12 hours a week to down heroic bosses, not wait for people to come back from unexpected bathroom breaks or disconnects.
Tier 12 - Firelands: 3/7 Heroic (Shannox, Lord Rhyolith, and Beth'tilac), 7/7 Normal
Tier 11 - 13/13 Heroic, 12/12 Normal
ARE YOU RIGHT FOR US?
As a guild we don’t like carrying people. If you believe that Blizzard created a friend's list for a reason, and that guilds are for progression then we are right for you. If you are tired of being one of the 3 or 4 best players in your current guild and having to carry everyone else then we are right for you. If you are tired of logging on every night only to have your raids canceled due to lack of attendance or because your officer’s want to watch new episodes of House and Chuck over raiding, then we are right for you. If you are tired of being the only one in your guild that takes the time to truly theory craft your class and contribute ideas to improving boss strategies then we are right for you. If you have a hunger to succeed in everything you do and want to be the best at your class then we are most definitely right for you. We are here to RAID, no drama, no fighting just raid progression and fun in the off time.

ABOUT US:
We are a very dedicated group of raiders. We have moved to Cho'gall to rise from the ashes and to rebuild on a higher population server that can provide us room to grow as a group. In two short months we went from 3/13HM T11 to 13/13HM T11. We raid hard and expect everyone that applies to not only bring every thing they have to the table every night but be ready for innovation and insight on our Member forums. We also play hard, we like to see people who don't just log out at the end of every raid and log on minutes before invites go out, be a member not just a raider.

REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must...
- Be geared for the content without being a hindrance
- Be 18 or older and in control of their own schedule.
- Be GOOD at your jobs and be willing to take criticism and advice.
- Be willing to attend 90%+ of raids. The vast majority of our members are at 90%+ lifetime attendance.
- Be willing to provide your own raid mats
- We do ask you have a good understanding of the fights before applying.
