So looking through my email I find this. It's a DotA like game(...I think? Havn't tried it yet, but apparently it "Stands on par with LoL", so I assume it is) and it's actually pretty interesting looking.
It's Currently in Closed Beta(Which I got in without knowing?)

They are tying to mix LoL and vanilla Dota(HoN). They blatantly take a lot from LoL, even their champion spotlight videos are very similar to Phreak's spotlight videos. I personally do see a reason to drop LoL for it other than a change of scenery from time to time. It will be interesting to see how they balance certain abilities though, I can't help to look at individual abilities and think of a LoL champion who has the exact same one (of course the genre is built around taking abilites from other games and incorporating them in new ways).

Just now getting around to downloading it, so I'll pass judgement when it's done.
Edit: So played it a bit.
So far, it looks just like LoL with a different art style...but some differences:
- Towers die FAST. After killing the 2 heros on my lane, I was able to push past the first towers, to the second towers with the unit spawner(Kill it, and it makes your mobs spawn there while they spawn less) and all the way to the main building. I was level 10.
- TONS of gank paths. I mean TONS.
- There are bosses, Im not sure what activates them, but they're there.(I didn't kill one =\)
- Items feel fairly weak.
Overall, not bad. If your looking for a moba to play besides LoL, Dota or HoN, this would be it.Last edited by seam; 2011-07-31 at 08:10 PM.
