Would like to solo firelands trash as a mage , talents and gear?

I would liek to solo firelands with my mage

He only has ilevel 333 though

So im gonna wait for some gear first

I heard fire is the best spec to solo it with , but i dont know which talents i need for movability etc.


One more thing?

Is it possible to get saved in the raid without doing something , it seems to be easier with shannox down ... is it possible to get saved in such
a raid without actually having helped.

Gear: Doesn't really matter. You can solo it with shit gear. Good gear will only make it go faster.
Talents: There's not really much to say. The standard fire pve specc, get rid of cautherizer and Burning Soul, get Improved Blink. Specc doesn't really matter, as long as you have the standard fire stuff.

Find someone who's killed shannox on heroic, get into his lock and accept the lockout. Set it to normal, go out of the instance, and reset. You're now saved for Shannox trash without killing him yourself.

Gear doesn't really matter, the talents are fairly obvious, and you can be in a raid with someone who has Shannox dead and use their save.
