The story built up extremely awesome imho, to a worthy climax. How it goes from looking like a simple war between two nations, to a war of two species.
And who can forget Lloyd or the Divine Dragon!

Probably one of my favorite PS1 games. I played through it last year with a gameshark that gave me Divine Dragon at the start. It was hilarious to see fat prison guards smack me with a stick and then my Dart dropped a series of atomic bombs on them. It kinda ruined the fun of the combat system, but the story was still just as good. I never noticed bad voice acting, I remember thinking the video clips were actually pretty graphically advanced for its time.
Played it a couple of times... was great xD
If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One... now I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.
Guys if you don't know the game, just don't post. Kthx.
I agree the voice acting wasn't too good. Like Melbu Frahma :')
But man, Lavitz dying was friggin' emotional.
And God I hate Shana so much...
I played through it recently for the first time. Maybe it was because I just played through it but it was probably like a 7/10 max. Story was so cliche and predictable. Combat system while a nice change, got annoying by the end of the game when you've had to do the exact same combos 100s of times
How the hell is the child of the moon plot predictable in any way? :P My first Virage encounter left me confused as crap with Shana's mental breakdown :P
