Mount & blade: warband

When you just start it's frustrating as hell as you can't hit anything (combat is quite hard initially), stick with it though, and you'll be rewarded with an amazing gaming experience!

Mount and Blade (Warband is best, all the way, ditto for its mods) as well as Stronghold. Both are fantastic games.

The Fable games should do ya nicely though they get more industrial as the go along the gearing and leveling is there and using a gun/bow im't fully required not combat wise at least.Demon Souls if ya have a PS3 and don't mind Chakan levels of difficulty older game wise try the Breath of Fire series though armor doesn't change on sprouts also older but still great are some of the tales games phantasia especially oh and star ocean 1-3 MAINLY take place in medieval fantasy settings(the sic fi really isn't as touched upon as you'd expect in these games) other than those not sure amd even then. Oh amd the star ocean games fo have nice item creation stuff going on for them as well.
