Another thing that's possible is that these work units are failing during upload, have you checked your logs for that happening?

I have not seen any failure reports, I gave F@H full up/download rights.

Keep an eye on your log for the next upload of a work unit, all I can think of.

I think the original base and estimated credit was only in the 400 range.. idk.

Yeah final credit estimate on a GPU WU was 1298, and that was base too.

1048 might be right then. That would narrow it down to SMP just not running well on your machine. GPUs don't get bonus points.

I did this for City Year's Alumni team but stopped because it does take a cut of your processor's strength AND your connection speed.

I can't help but wonder if there is an ulterior motive with "demanding" people keep their computers running 24/7. In the long run it's the participant who's stuck with the bill and possible hardware damage as a result of participating.

...Nope, can't say I'd ever do it again.

No one demands anything out of folders? Where did you read that? There are many options for folding - Uniprocessor, SMP, GPU, Bigadv...

lol hardware damage? How long ago did you fold? I already passed this by my dad about the electric bill (I'm 22) and he said that since it's for a good purpose it was fine, and it barely affects our electricity bill as it is, and yeah, I run my GPU and CPU at 100% load folding when I'm not gaming/rendering. It has not done anything to my processor or graphics card and my connection speed is through Comcast in Chicago, which is pretty damn awesome, so no, it's not a problem to me and some others too.

I think you can make $120/year. I think I read that somewhere. $10/month tops.

Imagine if they made it per WU/how many points you accrue, that could help make it so not just anyone could farm up an SR-2/3, for instance. *wink wink*
