    Well, a GTX 670 and i5-2500K, even both overclocked, are not going to really put out enough heat to make a difference, trust me. I have my computer in my basement and it still gets obnoxiously cold down here, even with an i5-2500K OC'd and a 560 Ti heavily OC'd chugging away. =/

    All I know is that my Overclocked GTX 590 makes a great heater.

    I can imagine! And that with everything else you have in just a HAF 922! Nice little space heater.

    Unfortunately though, my basement area my computer is in is probably 23 feet x 15 feet. ._. And about 7 feet tall. =/

    79, slowly but surely working my way through the ranks, I tend to only fold 2-3 nights a week though, might see about upping that

    Folding@Home doesn't support beta drivers of any kind. Get official/WHQL drivers.

    As for me Folding, I am currently Folding for a small little audiophile community but will probably return to dear mmo-champion's team once I hit 1 million over there.

    I don't think the previous drivers worked for my GPU either. As a matter of fact I don't think it worked since 12.6. If it is even the driver that is the problem at all.

    Besides I am not going back to crappier drivers just so my GPU can fold. the 12.11 beta is like a 10% performance increase its insane. My 2500K at 4.6 folds better with the GPU off anyway and it ends up being around the same PPD.

    In other news, my brother's 570 gets like 4 times more points than my 7970.

    Either AMD really sucks for Folding, or you're doing something wrong.

    They don't work on the same task, they get totally different proteins to fold...

    My 2500K@4.6GHz doesn't even get as many PPD as my 560 Ti.

    this is due to poor OpenCL support from both AMD and FaH, when OpenCL is working well, a single 7970 will stomp even a 590 in compute
