Need Help Remembering Sega Genesis Game

Howdy, I'm trying to remember a Sega Genesis game from my childhood. I don't remember much about it, other than the fact I loved it. I believe it was a turn-based war game, that was a little cartoony, with graphics sort of like Metal Slug. I think the combat was a lot like Advance Wars, just using one unit at a time, but I don't really remember. I also remember you could have different infantry dudes, some with normal guns, some with rocket launchers, etc. The last thing I remember was that the physical game cartridge had a thick yellow stripe near the top of it. I've been trying to remember the name of this game for years!

My guess would be either General Chaos or possibly Cannon Fodder though that one is a bit less cartoony.

There is also one other game im thinking of but I cant remember the name to it. It featured units/characters from various different time periods fighting each other in a tactical war style.

Oh man, it was General Chaos, you are awesome! So many memories looking around that wiki page. I played this game for hours when I was like 7.

I also can't believe I remembered the yellow stripe.
