    Fans for RX360

Pending arrival of my Xigmatek Elysium this week I'll be installing my water cooling loop (finally).

However, I still haven't bought any fans for my radiator, an XSPC RX360, which is a thick, low FPI radiator.

I'm looking for quiet rather than performance, probably somewhere around 20dBA per fan or less. I'll probably end up doing push/pull just because I'll have the room and will be able to get more air flow with less noise that way.

I know as soon as someone says "radiator fan" everyone else then says "Gentle Typhoons", but we only have 1 Canadian e-tailer with them in stock right now, and they would cost me almost $25 a pop. I'm not averse to spending money if think its worth it, but I feel like I can get a much better deal.

These are the two fans I'm looking at currently.

    http://ncix.com/products/?sku=54661&...cture=Xigmatek $15 each
    http://ncix.com/products/?sku=24331&...ctic%20Cooling $6 each

Any reason that either of these wouldn't do a good job?

Xigmatek fans aren't quiet. You'll know this when you hook up the Elysium.
I'll probably end up throttling the pre-installed fans with a fan controller if they're too loud. I would probably be looking at the 1150 RPM GTs if I were to go that way, or maybe I should go with the 1850s and use the fan controller..

The impression I got from Yates is that they're mostly performance oriented, and most of their stuff available is pretty dated (I'm not sure how much fan tech has progressed in the last 3 years). I could be wrong. Just the impression I have

Also, nevermind about undervolting the GTs.. They seem to make the same amount of noise no matter what speed they're run at http://www.xbitlabs.com/misc/picture...es_big.png&1=1

if you have a low FPI rad, the artic cooling fans will be fine, and not look tacky
