(Another) New PC Build

Hey guys, first time building a computer and looking for some serious help. My current computer is ages old (5? years.. my video card is a 8600 GT, nuff said,) and it's about time I laid down some cash to get a new one.

Looking at a budget of 700ish (excluding price of windows 7) so nothing too crazy, but I have leverage room. So far, I'm looking at:

Things I'm missing obviously include a case.. I have no idea what to look for in one, I've always had this boring black box and have never worried about temperature. Would this setup work? Do I need to buy a better heatsink?
