Aurora Borealis is a scandinavian guild on Grim Batol. We were formed on Daggerspine in April 06 as a semi-casual 40 man raiding guild.
As of Summer 08 Daggerspines once large population of scandinavians were declining, and we migrated as (of one many) guilds to Grim Batol.
Competition was harsh, but our raidcore was loyal and we have since then become one of the top raiding guilds of Grim Batol, where there once were 20+ guilds in front of us.
We have still been able to stick with our semi-hardcore raiding schedule, allowing players who love professionalism and focused raiding to be able to maintain a real life on the side.
Since Ulduar we've been battling for realmfirsts, valuing quality raiding over quantity raiding, and since the release of Cataclysm it has been our wish to maintain a steady raidcore of around 35 players.
This has been a success so far with several well-ranked kills. Off-raid nights are spent 10maning and PVP'ing among other things, where we secured the first 10 man Al'Akir Hardmode kill for our realm.
Recruitment is currently OPEN for all classes and speccs.
If your class is not listed but you feel like you are a skilled player that we would be stupid not to accept, feel free to drop an application and we'll have a look. We also accept hidden applications for those that dont want to risk there current position.
We would like you to be a scandinavian raider able to raid close up to 100%, with long-time experience from a competitive raiding environment. It is vital that you always strive to improve your playing, and the performance of the guild. This attitude also has to shine through in your character sheet.
