Mirror of Broken Images not working on Beth'tilac?

Just wondering if this is normal or a bug.
Anti magic shell works fine, but I still take full fire damage on Beth'tilac

The AOE damage from Beth'tilac is not resistable. Aura mastery is totally useless in p2 o//

The reason AMS works is because AMS is an absorb, whereas Mirror is simply a resist trinket, and as Nimiks said, the damage is not resistible in any way. Be sure to remind your paladins that aura mastery is therefor not going to do anything for the raid damage.

Disc bubble and AMZ are both awesome, and all other raid-wide damage cooldowns work as normal, though.

Even if you could resist the AoE damage from Beth'tilac, It wouldn't be worth it. Melee will be about 70% of your overall taken damage during Beth'tilac. (If of course you are talking about tanking)

First part, completely true.
Second part... Resist Aura + Aura Mastery is useless, also true.
Devotion aura -> Aura mastery, quite good actually, like using an armor potion for your tanks for 6 seconds.
