    Normal realms and ganking.

    Hi there.
So me and me friend would like to know is ganking at TB graveyard isn't agains rules etc. at normal realms (optional PvP) because me and my FDK enjoy pwning 3-4 allys at time and waiting for their respawn.

Post only about topic. Not unecessary discussions.

normal realms are pvp optional except a few select zones. You flag at your own risk. You go to those zones knowing theres a chance at pvp. That being said, camping someone or a graveyard is just a douche move and is nothing to be proud of.
Was hit with a nerf bat!

It's pretty much an ethical issue. Most people look at graveyard camping as incredibly dick-like. I only know of one person who got a suspension for camping someone, and it was during original WoW. He got ganked on an alt, logged on his main, and camped the guy for an hour, he was suspended for 3 hours for this "unfair griefing" was the reasoning. Haven't heard of any situation similar.

You should be fine ... You're on a normal realm, so basically they could just wait 5 minutes for their PvP to go off and spawn.
When they just keep respawning with PvP on then they are just either stupid or they want revenge badly!

If one flags himself on purpose or gets into a PvP zone then PvP realm rules apply basicly.

About the only PvP that's considered griefing is extended denial of content to the other faction. For example, leaving the AH shut down for many, many hours, keeping a quest hub dead for hours, repeatedly killing an escort NPC, etc.

These rules are rarely enforced however, as the length of time needed for it to be considered denial of content is actually fairly extreme and *most* servers will handle it themselves with counter PvP action long before a GM would be able to do anything.

Killing another player who is flagged is never griefing under any condition that I've encounters, because being flagged is always a choice. Either you're somewhere you shouldn't be, flagged up on purpose (through whatever means), rolled on a PvP server, or choose to not stay down for 5 minutes to let your flag drop. If they're flagged, they're fair game, limited only by your own code of conduct.

I'm closing this because there's no discussion possible.

The rules inside the game are the rules. Nothing we say here will have any impact on how a particular GM interprets those rules, and if they decide to action your account, nothing here will alleviate that.

It's a dick move and you already know it's questionable behavior. By engaging in it, you are accepting the risk.
