Looking for an external hard-drive

Hey, Computer forum. I need to buy an external hard drive at the moment, constantly shifting large amounts of data between computers. I need a reliable, fairly cheap 500GB-1TB drive. Anyone had any good experiences?

I want it to be fairly compact as well. There was a white Samsung one that I can't remember the model name of, that looked pretty sweet to me, does anyone know which one it was?

Maybe you're thinking of this one in white?
Since you want a compact one, you'll probably want USB-powered disks.
I have the WD MyPassport 1TB. It's really small and lightweight and it supports USB 3.0. It seems it's on sale on amazon too!
