Druid Tank --> What trinkets should I be using?

Hey everyone. I currently have Tia's Grace http://www.wowhead.com/item=56394/tias-grace , Fluid Deathhttp://www.wowhead.com/item=58181/fluid-death , Moonwell Phial http://www.wowhead.com/item=70143/moonwell-phial , and Scales of Lifehttp://www.wowhead.com/item=68915/scales-of-life on my druid tank. I was just wondering what 2 trinkets I should be using? I'm currently gemming for agility and doing Firelands normal mode on 10 man. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!

It really depends on the fight and your roll in tanking. If you are going to be OTing, and have parts where you can dps for a good bit Agi/Mastery trinkets will be great.

And look at Baleroc, If you are MTing, you might want to use a stam trinket, but if you are OTing(D Blade after stacks.) Then you will want to go pure dodge. And if you are solo tanking you will prob want a mix, or on use dodge for the D Blade.

I main tank mostly everything for our guild, as in tanking Shannox with the 60% enrage, tanking Beth'Tilac in phase one and so on. I've heard that I should use double stam trinkets for heavy magic damage fights and double agi/dodge/mastery trinkets for anything else but I'm wondering if it's worth it to use Tia's grace over either of those stam trinkets because the item level is much lower. I run Fluid Death+Scales of Life. I prefer to have one avoidance trinket and one EH trinket for nice balance. Obviously, I also have several other trinkets that I carry with me to switch in depending on the fight.

scales of life sucks so bad, go for moonwell or valiona one instead with on use dodge. but yea trinks will change depending what ya doin on each fight

Thanks for the input so far everyone! Seeing as there is lots of fire (magic) damage done to me in almost every fight in Firelands and stam creates a nice buffer for that is there any boss fights in Firelands that a bear tank should be using double agil/dodge/mastery trinkets in your opinions?

I'm MTing on some fights and OT or dpsing on others in firelands 10 man normal modes. I run with valiona's trinket + Moonwell Vial aswell as having mostly +60 stam gems and some +30 stam and +20 agility, and +30 stam and +20 dodge. I have roughly 205k HP fully raidbuffed and about 38%dodge + 17.8 mastery. This is a fairly balanced gearing with some slightly higher pressure on Stam than agi, but it works very well inn more or less all fights. Though, I do have a feeling that I might need to get more specialized sets when we go into heroic modes.My advice is just to go with a balanced set in normal modes as your healers would either hate you for having less HP than they want to see or take more dmg than they cba to heal. Cheeky bastards those healers!

I'm tanking everything in 7/7normal and 2/7 heroic.


Im running about 170k fully buffed. Full agi gemmed, double agi trinkets (rag agi trink + seed (rep) ).


Never had a moment wishing I had 20k more HP. And my threat + damage is insane. Often finishing with 15-16k in an average fight.

for 10man normals just go with tia's + fluid.

I recently ding at 85 with my alt, and I bought ''Scales of life'' which I think is pretty good with a new alt to have (Stamina bonus + HS every minute)

But i'm still wondering what to get really 2nd before going in FL.

Moonwell is ok, but i just don't feel like doing all the dailies...

Valiona trinket is awsome, but still need to pug it...

165k hp is more than sufficient for normal Firelands. So far no problems in the few heroics I've done too. So double Agi trinket works.
