Can I get over Honor Cap if I buy and sell items to avoid capping while farming honor ?
(FYI I'm 82 and got 3k honor, can't buy any level 85 gear)

About honor cap.
I come across a quiet river, that wonders through the trees.
I stare into its running waters and fall unto my knees.
In resignation to the forest, that's held me for so long.

If you are not the designated level for the gear you wanna buy you can't buy it any more . This means until I get 85 I can't buy any level 85 gear at all . I remember back in BC I had bought my Glad dagger on my rogue when I was 68. Some nice days .

You will lose points converting. A lot of points to do it back and forth.

Oh, I didn't know that. But the converting thing does seem like your best bet.

Converting seems like the only bet . I'm at 3.7k honor . When I cap I'll try this thing and i'll tell you the results

I just capped and tried to sell a previously acquired cheap item . Can't go ove 4000 . This means only converting will work

Get the PVP enchants. You'll use them sooner or later, and HP is easy to come by.

True but say you convert to 3750 JP & you have 4000 HP when you first hit 85 you'll be 100 honor away from being able to buy exactly three 2200 honor point main pieces (chest/helm/legs). Originally Posted by Ultima

yeh as someone said the strongest point you can be at at 85, is 4k justice + 4k honor(and i suppose crafted to make farming less stressfull lol)

What about stopping running BGs and questing till 85? This way you won't waste any points and the three levels can be done very quickly.

Converting is the way, but you lose quite alot that way. Just get to 85 and grind that honor man.. we all been there

is this to potentialy "farm" to the honor required to buy weapons and your after a ranged weapon(not thrown) + statstick? which would need over the cap to buy both in one shot?
eg your at 6k honor this season and currently have 4k on you.
you buy an item that costs 2200 honor and then farm 2200 more.
this takes your season ammount over required ammount. you then buy the 2200 gun and sell back the 2200 cost item you previously bought and then use that honor to buy a stat stick in the remaining slots. ?
because that would work as long as you re-sold the item within 2 hours ( you could buy a different item and sell the one your using as a honor sink to keep yourself under cap)

maximum honour available before level 85:
get to level 84
cap honour (4000)
cap JP (2000)
buy level 80 items and do as many BGs in 2 hour period (maybe 2k honor)
hit 85 and buy and resell the level 80s.
total approx 8k honour
