Oh my...not excited to have someone from the SWTOR community team on board at Carbine...hoping he was held back from being awesome by BioWare rather than really just being not good at his job -_-

Nah David Bass was WAY back. Before launch. Back when they actually communicated somewhat effectively. My hypothesis was being on the inside he saw the writing on the wall and got out when he had the opportunity with Wildstar. Obvious speculation of course

Actually I might have mixed Stephen and David up. Looks like David Bass went to Wildstar in June 2012.

In these scenarios, I cross my fingers and hope they've learned from their mistakes.
    Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

Yeah, but why have it in slash commands? Makes me ponder that, in this case, it means player-to-player instead of pay-to-play.

Not sure why ppl made a rule out of this, as these...content reveal days are hardly respected by Carbine.

Think its still like six thirty in the morning on the west coast right now. When they post W*W tends to vary, a lot, but you've probably got at least four or five hours to go before we might get something.

Wildstar Wednesday is up early! New video with something I've wanted to know for a while now.
    *snip*

This may not be allowed, just let me know and I'll edit my post. Not sure on the specifics of this rule and posting external links vs embedding it in the thread.

Sadly, it's not allowed outside of chat threads : ( -Edge

About David Bass... I have interacted with him a fair amount and have never had any issues. Honestly I think many of the swtor issues were higher up related and him related; the community team is just the most visible. From what I have seen the Wildstar team has been really helpful and informative, and they are very supportive of their fan sites (hey he even posted here once before which imo is wonderful). SO honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

It's always worth talking about. Wildstar threads should cheer anyone's day up. >.> Shame I had to add the disclaimer, but I'm not solid on what is allowed in that avenue.

It's someone from their Music department, singing one of the 'new' songs for the game.

SWTOR wasn't all bad. Just "elder game" was another grindfest.

[Edit] Grindfest with a Byzantine gear currency system.

Well I forgot not everyone has access to youtube at work...it was supposed to provide awkward laughter. I feel that Mr. Astley's current revival matches the tone set by the game. So it's 100% relevant....mm hmm.

Though...how cool would it be if you could set pranks in the game? Like what if you could sneak into someone's house and put a booby trap on something they access a lot. So when they use it it blows them up/kills them. Or if you could hide a bunch of mobs inside a storage closet that jump out and chaos ensues.

...hrmm...I need to send them some beta feedback on the potential of this feature.
