And I personally only liked body sliders in City of Heroes and Champions Online. The horrors I saw in Aion make me not want to see them in non-comic book games.

Although Age of Conan was okay... Mainly because it didn't have anywhere near the range of the others.

I really liked the body sliders in GW2 and FFXIV. You could really customize how you looked within your race choice. But like, you could roll the tallest race and the shortest tall guy would never be shorter than the tallest guy the next step down.

That's pretty good, to me. It's just, we were talking about girl NPCs in WildStar, and this is yet another game where I won't be playing female characters because I don't want to be big boobs tiny hips all the time. It's okay, to me, if OTHER people want to play that - I just would like a choice. Same with the males - maybe I don't want to be Bulkmaster 9000?

FFXIV's was pretty good, they just could have use more face options.

Hell, I remember reading somewhere that they actually reduced the size of mithra ladies' posteriors between the original release and A Realm Reborn. 'Tis criminal, I say!

I always find it cute when developers try to hide their ass and breast sliders with politically correct terminology and indirect measures like "chest depth" "chest width" "body type" "waist". :P

Well duhhh. That is why i dislake in wow....nelf ones are too small .

Anyway...enginer kinda looks interesting as a tank.

Probaly Aurin Esperer and Mechari Engineer (cuz they are robots duh).

Seeing Engineer tanks reminds me of the Puppeteer class in FFXI and that reminds me that the Puppeteer class was billed as a pet tank or pet dps and it did both horribly so you never got groups. Here is hoping they can figure out the pet tank better than they did in FFXI.

Shadowy sources tell me Engineer is a very good tank in its current state. As far as I know, you don't really need to pick the pet's either. You can most likely tank fine without them, and if you decide you want them I don't think they will be of that much importance. It's not like you actually let the pet tank the boss, you, the Engineer is the one soaking up damage and you can probably use the Bruiser Bot to aoe taunt/tank adds that spawn and similiar.
I wouldn't worry about them being bad or overly complicated.

Also, the bots are the cutest pets I've ever seen in a game <3 They are just adorable

I have noticed that for people that made this game....they are pretty bad at it.

most of them seem to only really play one or two classes themselves, though.
