Might give this game a try even though I'm tired of formulaic MMOS (level, rep, raid). Hopefully I will get at least a month of enjoyment out of it. Will keep an eye on it.
O.O
Well that is true. I mean I will always remember my first time going to ironforge on my nelf warrior (was my first toon ever) and how scary that was, because apparently I was a good bit too low a level to be doing it. But on the other hand I hated not being able to fly in the new expansion. I think for me they way I enjoy the game has just changed.
Or, OR! They could make every jumping puzzle inside a cave where either flying mounts can't fit, or they are afraid of the dark
Or a corgi, corgis are good.

Haha, that never gets old! We should probably stop straying off to animal topics though, thread would never get back on track
I'm hoping for a good W*W today though it will probably just be a recap of the EU Arkship event in Brighton.

Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

Not a fan of stats "for PvP" myself. Would rather PvP be something people did just for fun with xp, rewards, and such, coming from PvE. I love PvP, but when you add rewards to it? It can become just as grindy as PvE.

yeah, don't like pvp only stats either
sounds like they are focusing mostly on battleground type pvp
Well I was just going by that interview and they said world pvp wasn't really a focus on them and they don't have anything like RvR. So it seems from that that the focus is on battlegrounds/arena style pvp.
I like Battlegrounds so I have no problem with that.

Haven't seen any info, but I sure hope the raids are distinct for 20 and 40 person groups. I greatly dislike multi mode raiding.
Turns out that Black Wolf over at the WSC made it.

They'd almost HAVE to. I'm really worried for the 40 man raids, because it seems like there's gonna have to be so many things that have to go perfect for them to work well. If they split 20/40 man raids (a la Vanilla WoW) it'd at least give reason for "hardcores" to go do them. If it's the same raids, I doubt there will be many 40 man groups, and that development time will be wasted.

raids are totally separate from each other and only have one difficulty. Raids also dont follow the main story.
