Description of who you are and what you are looking for:

    Adeptus Mechanicus

    Who we are

The Adeptus Mechanicus, or AdMec as some may know, is a 1st founding guild in SWTOR. Initially founded to give a haven for friends and former guildmates to reunite in SWTOR, AdMec has the ingame purpose of becoming a friendly and somewhat casual guild for both new and veteran players. Our ranks are filling primarily with working adults who are veterans of World of Warcraft [Dalaran-H/A] as well as other games. We work all day, and generally just want to come home, log on, and have fun.

The name comes from the Warhammer 40k universe. The keepers of all technology and knowledge of the Imperium of Man, The Adeptus Mechanicus devotes itself to the sole purpose of furthering man's understanding of the cosmos and the machine. Holding machines to a level of near divinity, the Adeptus Mechanicus respects all knowledge as the pure word of the Machine Omnissiah. In SWTOR, this mostly translates to our pursuit of knowledge and power. Pure and simple.

    What we want from you

We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our ranks. If you are looking for bleeding edge content, top level PvP, or some other extreme, you may look elsewhere with more success. AdMec is here for adult gamers that want to play SWTOR with friends. We are recruiting all classes and advanced classes currently, but will fill slots as necessary for raiding if that need arises. For the most part, we want relaxed adults who don't mind drunk PvP, blaming raid wipes on fictional characters, and briefly ignoring the real world a few times a week to have fun together. I won't promise you anything other than that you will have fun.

Follow the link above to join. We look forward to reading your application

Please include any past experience, neat facts, and beta experience.

    Sincerely,
    Fabricator-General Attilas
    Imperial Agent: Operative Medic

Just wanted to update! We'll be deploying tomorrow on Anchorhead. Excited to see folks tomorrow!

    - Nerf Dialogue -

    US/PVE Progression at its Finest

    Raid Times:

Progression Hours: Sunday–Friday, 9 pm–2 am EST [30+ Hours Weekly]
    Farm Hours: Sunday–Tuesday, 9 pm–12 am EST

Nerf Dialogue: A World First Mentality

Casual in spirit, hardcore at heart. Created from such guilds as Vodka, Bad News Bears, Raiding Rainbow, Afterlife (and more) comes Nerf Dialogue, a republic progression guild. Our goal is unique in it's simplicity: Top World Ranking in end-game progression while enjoying the climb. We're not recruiting people looking for a title or who want to play boss, as we believe that the proof is in the gaming, not how loud you can yell. Currently we're looking for members with the focus and dedication required for World Firsts. If you're looking for a guild that will supply you with the retina burning raid hours you need then come app or stop by to see how you stack up against our players. For everyone else who would rather talk than play, guilds with ominous latin based names are right around the corner.

    Recruitment:

    1 - Vanguard Tank
    1 - Sentinel DPS
    1/2 - Amazing Players
**Classes do fill up but we are always accepting exceptional applicants.

Things we look for in a recruit:

    analytical mind-set
    mental and emotional maturity
    goal oriented and solution driven
competitive with themselves or always looking to improve
ability to deconstruct mechanics and execute in a raid environment
    previous experience
time and attention needed for a progression raiding guild
    ability to communicate ideas
ability to set aside personal interests for the good of the guild
desire to fully min/max and theorycraft your class

Things we don’t want in a recruit:

    selfishness
    entitlement
    large ego
    inability to follow directions
    combative personality
    little to no previous experience
    hoarding information/materials

Here is a little what we expect in applicants:

Here in Nerf Dialogue we are looking for a high quality gamer with a high quality personality, and without one of the two there will be no luck for you here. We expect all our members to hold themselves to a high standard, which includes but is not limited to: remaining active within the guild; being prepared and on time to raids with the right mindset; and having the motivation to put all others striving for the best behind us. We pride ourselves on being selective not by design, but by nature - we won't deny qualified applicants just to pad our acceptance percentage.

For all member's there will be no toleration concerning trolling any chat in game or out of game whether it be in general game chat or the Nerf Dialogue official forums or any other forum for that matter where our guild name is associated with yours – we do not want Nerf Dialogue to be slandered or to have any sort of bad rep with our community while we push content. We expect each member to conduct themselves as an adult and nothing less, but please, we are here to have fun as well as conquer both raiding content and the PVP community (for those who partake). That is not to say that we dont joke around with each other alot, but when it comes to the public eye, we expect our members to understand that they are a reflection on our community as a whole.

Members will be respectful and courteous to those within the guild as well as those outside the guild at all times. Elitism is not tolerated; professionalism is. If you don't know the difference, please don't waste our time.

Be able to take criticism; everyone will be called out at some point in time, and how you respond will help determine if you are ready to raid with the big boys.

This is an active raiding guild and will remain so. If you believe that you cannot remain active, please do not waste our time (this is defined by disappearing for a week or more at a time for no apparent reason). We do have backup positions/Friends and Family spots available for those who want to be a part of our community, but cant fully commit to our raid schedule. We also understand that everyone has a real life and are willing to work with all of the members in this area. We understand life has a way of throwing unexpected surprises at you - we only ask that you notify us when it does.

If and when you are accepted into the guild as an Initiate, there will be a 1 month trial period that we will evaluate your performance, attendance, etc... At the end of this 1 month we as a guild will decide if you can be considered an asset as well as a friend to Nerf Dialogue, afterwhich you will either join us as a member or we will let you go. If let go, there will be a 2 month minimum before you may apply for the guild again, but you may apply and be looked at as a completely new app.

***Our Ventrilo is open 24/7 for those with questions. Check the site for details.

    About Regret

Regret is a UK Based gaming organisation that originally formed in 2004 during the Counter-Strike 1.6 era, Since then we have been around in one form or another and have now returned for SW:TOR. We will be on Empire, focusing on PvE content but will be based on a PvP server.

Between our Leadership team, We have over 15 years of MMO and gaming experience with one of our officers working in the industry, Our aim for the guild is to be an endgame PvE Focused guild guild.

We have a hardcore approach to raiding but not to the point where it becomes a second job (3-4 nights per week with 3-4 hours per session)

Basically, We do not expect you to be online 24/7 raiding. While we do have a minimum attendance requirement from our raiders, we're not strict to the point of missing 1 raid means you're going to get shouted at next time you come online. We do allow for holidays, unexpected work, family and real life occasions.

    Our guild policies:-

    • Maturity - All of our players are aged 18 through to 35, so while hearing Johhny get told by his mum to go to bed is quite amusing, it's not what we're looking for.
    • The Ability to take advice
    • Helpfulness - We want our members to feel like they belong to a community so we expect everyone to contribute, however we do not expect high level players to be running low level players through content.

    Global Chat:-

We ask all our members to treat other players with respect. Basically, mild trolling can be funny and all part of the game. Consistent trolling and/or derogatory comments are a no-no

    Guild Chat:-

While we have an open language policy in Guild chat, we still expect basic etiquette to be followed. In other words, if you think something is crossing the line when before you type it or say it, it more than likely is.

    Groups:-

We encourage all Guild grouping and will be doing our best to accommodate this through PvP, Flashpoint and Alt Operations (When applicable), Saying that, outside of operations, we do not have any restrictions on who you can or can't group with (I've seen this from other guilds and its mind boggling.)

    Raiding:-

The current tentative raiding days/times are as follows -

    Monday 20:00 - 00:00
    Wednesday 20:00 - 00:00
    Thursday 20:00 - 00:00
Sunday - Extra day as needed (Hopefully this will be rarely used)

These times are subject to slight change before release, however the start time will be no earlier than 20:00 and the end time no later than 00:30 GMT (CET+1)

    Guild Structure

The guild structure is pretty much a classic one, however the guild is not run by a single player, The guild is ran by a council made up of the Guild Master and all the Officers.

    Guild Master
    Officers
    Core Members
    Members
    New Recruits

Any decision within the guild is decided by council of the Guild Master and the Officer team.

If this sounds like the guild for you, Great! you're just a couple of small steps away from being a part of Regret Gaming.

If you have any questions regarding the guild or just want some more information, feel free to send me a PM via these forums or our website.

We can't wait to hear from you!

    Thanks for reading

Description of who you are and what you are looking for:

    Twisted
    EU Hardcore PVE Guild

"Twisted (EU - PVE) ? Who are you guys?":

Twisted is founded by three real life friends that stuck together through various MMOGs. For nine years now, we three have been the core of various guilds and clans in games like Lineage 2 and World of Warcraft and due to both our ability to decide on every matter through consistent communication, as well as every single member's effort, these clans of the past have enjoyed success. Moving on to SW:tOR, our objective remains the same: Through continuous effort and commitment, we aim to tackle the endgame content so as to excell in SW:tOR in the same manner as with the games mentioned above. However, this does not mean that everything will be "strictly business". Our second aim is to meet and befriend people that share our passion of having fun while breaking through SW:tOR's endgame content.

"I let you rant all this time but you haven’t gone to the most important part: Why would I join you?”

    Some of the reasons include:

    - Steady and consistent PVE progress
    - Friendly, “family” environment.
    - Strong raiding leadership
    - Everyone in charge will do his/her best to keep the drama and “guild politics” at a minimum
    - Wealth of information about the game, its mechanics, classes, talent trees and generally whatever truly matters in high end PVE

What Twisted is asking of the aspiring applicant:

    - Be on top of your character mechanics and keep being updated towards changes regarding those
    - Maturity and positive response to feedback
    - Commitment to the guild and its raid schedule
    - Can join Voice Chat
    - Being expressive when it comes to ideas or complaints.

"Alright, what classes do you Twisted people need":

Initially we want to work our way to getting a stable group of raiders. We are currently looking for mature as well as exceptional players, with a slight priority given to getting a variety of classes. Even so, we are always on the lookout for new players that display maturity and understanding of the game and its mechanics.

"Okay, I meet the qualifications above and want to play Sw:tOR! Where do I apply?"

The guild's site and forums are currently under construction, but you can apply here, following the form below:

    Personal Information:

    Name:

    Age:

    System Specifications(Hardware Setup/ Latency etc.):

Description of who you are and what you are looking for:

    Retribution

    Origins:

    • The founding members of this guild had originally come together under the name “Disbelief” in the game Rift, and occupied the Keenblade shard. The guild enjoyed great success in clearing numerous tiers of high-end content while maintaining a fairly relaxed yet efficient atmosphere. We occupied the position of being one of the top guilds on our server and this is something that we are really looking to carry over and expand upon during our time in Star Wars.

What type of guild are we in SW:TOR?:

    • In Star Wars we are really looking to take things up a notch and establish a truly “hard-core” guild mentality. We want to position ourselves as one of the guilds that is in fierce competition for server firsts while maintaining a respectable worldwide progression ranking. What this means for our raiders is that they will be continually assessed in terms of their performance and will need to really strive to continually improve themselves as raiders. Strict expectations will be placed not only upon performance but also other aspects of raiding such as attendance or raid-readiness in order to give us the best possible chance of achieving our progression goals.

    Server:
    • Mandalore the Indomitable - US West PvP

    Operation Size:
    • 16 man.

        • Tank- High
        • DPS- High

    • Currently we raid (pacific time):
      • Mondays 7:00 - 10:00
      • Tuesdays 7:00 - 10:00

    Silence of the Jawas
    ♦Hardcore Republic PvE on PvP server♦ ♣[US-West]♣

Silence of the Jawas has launched and is actively recruiting for launch! We will be launching as a Republic faction, PvE-focused guild playingon a PvP server.

Our guild is bound by a nightmarish vision. It was not long ago, amid the moon-soaked dunes of Tatooine that we witnessed a guild member (who shall remain unnamed) performing the most heinous of acts. He was robbing Jawas who had "salvaged" his speeder bike some months ago. He stripped them of their robes! Their screams, their horrible screams! Those screams have haunted us since SWTOR's launch announcement. We seek atonement through PvE progression and crushing Sith to dust. Perhaps in endgame we shall find the silence of the Jawas.

Silence of the Jawas was founded by four friends who have raided and worked together for 5 years. Our experience spans from Vanilla WoW to Cataclysm, venturing to endgame completion in each expansion. We have expanded into EvE and various FPS games.

You will need a sense of humor in order to play with this guild.

We are searching for people who can laugh at themselves (and others) first and foremost. By looking at our guild name one can see that we do not take ourselves too seriously. What we do take seriously is progression. When we raid there will be optimal use of each member's time while maintaining a fluid social dynamic.

Each player participating in the leadership of this guild has a history of success in endgame achievement. We have set our mind to do so in SWTOR. We will accomplish our goal but we need your help to make this happen.

    Our guild strategy includes:
    • Scheduled raids - tentatively Monday thru Thursday (7pm - 10:30pm PST); this may change based upon currently unknown variables.
    • Profession Optimization through Organization to maximize recipe and pattern access.
    • Class and specialization min/max will be managed by Class Leaders.
    • We will manage drama as best we can. There will be very little tolerance for disrupting our community and the flow of our progression. Leave your baggage at the door.
    • If loot distribution becomes necessary, we will employ a Loot Council that consists of the GM, Class leaders, and one member of the guild chosen on a weekly basis.

    STRICTLY
    BUSINESS

    PVP Server | Mature | Proven Leadership | World-First Mentality | Non-Elitist | Min-Maxers | Social

Strictly Business is a community founded by leaders of the current 8th world ranked Rift PVE raiding guild, who are now putting their full focus into SWTOR. We take our roots from SWG, and have always had a hardcore presence in games since that time. We merge serious progression raiding with a real people-centric community.

When you think of a guild with a world-first mindset, are you inclined to think along the lines of a famous '50 DKP minus' statement? We could not be further from that. Our members are adults with a sense of humor. They enjoy the math and challenge of theory-crafting and min-maxing without the need to use it as a tool to enable elitism. Our players naturally strive to achieve more, by using forums, target dummy, DPS parsers, spreadsheets, math, and their fellow guild members.

Our raids click. Our raid leader is a glorified traffic light. Start DPS, Stop DPS. The raid leader sometimes causes a traffic wreck, we have a good laugh, and we hit it again hard. Years of raiding has taught us that the best way to success is to apply aggression to difficult encounters, and respect to members. It shows.

Because our community actively participates in Mumble while online, we have a tight-knit MMO family. We have an amazingly committed, laid-back (but efficient) raid of intelligent adults. You constantly hear members cracking up over jokes, with an occasional enveloping..."Yes!" as a new encounter goes down. We love the feeling that first time a lumbering giant goes down, don't you?

    Mission Statement:
Maintain a socially inviting guild led by a calculating, caring council, filled with members that respect others, but are serious about their game play, driven by efficient, but friendly raiding, aimed toward PvE world progression rankings.

    Raiding:
Strictly Business raiders spend time both in and out of raids focused on min/maxing, strategic planning, and character progression. We do not run a sit-down shut up raid. If we're killing we're talking or joking. If you can't perform well outside of a strict comms slient raid, this isn't the raiding guild for you. If you are a (humble...ish) charismatic ultimate machine of PvE destruction...we want you.

    Progression Raid Green:
This raid's primary focus is PvE rankings. We are looking for individuals with a world-first raiding attitude and really good jokes. This raid requires a minimum commitment to 30 hours of raiding during US evening hours while we are in progression periods. This includes 90% attendance of the base raiding hours below, though attendance should be nearer to 100%. Spots are earned. Exactly 16 individuals will be tagged as green raiders, but these positions are constantly in flux. These individuals take advantage of every min/maxing opportunity the game has to offer. They also contribute to theory-crafting for their classes.

    Progression Raid Blue:
If the only issue with raid green was the number of hours required a week, we have raid blue. Raid blue recruits people of the same quality as raid green. The only difference is that this raid happens in smaller doses. Raid blue invite priority will be assigned based on skill, and attendance. Blue raid is held to a minimum 90% attendance though the candidates that earn spots will attend near 100%. SB's blue raid does understand commitments such as finals, vacations, FTXes, deployments, business trips etc.., just let us know when you'll be gone so we don't worry and can schedule a replacement.

    Base Raid Schedule:
Note: Progression Raid Green raids significant hours outside this schedule: typically weekends, and weekday evenings excluding Friday. If you have questions, please ask.

    PST (Pacific)
    Monday: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
    Tuesday: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
    Wednesday: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
    Thursday: 6:00pm - 9:00pm

    EST (Eastern)
    Monday: 9:00pm - 12:00am
    Tuesday: 9:00pm - 12:00am
    Wednesday: 9:00pm - 12:00am
    Thursday: 9:00pm - 12:00am

    Where is PvP?
We care about PvP, but it is in no way our focus. We've heard the news that rated PvP will not likely be in at launch, but it is coming. We are excited for this. We have a handful of individuals with sandbox gaming backgrounds, and Gladiator titles. We are recruiting a team of dedicated PvPers, not to exceed 16 total.

What can I expect as a member?
    • Progression raiding with other people that want to push world progression
    • Efficient, effective raiding, with a humorous environment
    • A social community you'll want in your next game
    • Copious amounts of laughs and loot
    • Your membership valued when your time to commit to game goes down

What is expected of me as a member?
    • Respect for all reasonable players
    • Agreement to be logged into Mumble while playing
    • Full effort (with jokes, and raiding)
    • Skilled game play
    • Emulate this
    • Laughs (Yes, it's listed as what you get, but where did you think it was coming from?)
    • /DANCE

    Leadership:
Leadership is by council, consisting of an odd number members. Rulings effective by majority council vote. While we have a fully functioning leadership, if there is any position we can put you in that would improve the guild, we want to you to have it. We feel that having a couple people that can do any particular job keeps the guild wheels smooth.

    Size/Guild Composition:
Our hard cap is at 60 members. We have two raids, and a PvP team. Sprinkle in a small dose of age appropriate social invites (still interviewed for personality): immediate family, or an occasional bromance (don't hate, true love knows no bounds) and you have our guild.

In past games, with very active players, this has been in the range that ensures during any normal playing hours for the US, it is likely that whatever you want to do in game, others in the guild are already doing it. At this size, with the play habits of the type of people we recruit, everyone gets to know everyone else personally to great degree. It's another thing that makes our raids successful.

    Loot:
Bioware may be handling loot distribution on their own. If this changes, we'll assign our loot method by a majority vote by all members at some point prior to the first raid.

    What is Min/Maxing?
We define min/maxing as doing all things possible to improve your character's ability to perform their role to maximum efficiency be it in game equipment, reputation rewards, gear modifications, rotation, or proper application of skill points. A min/maxer will go to great lengths to obtain any increase (even small ones) to his or her character. They typically enjoy the math and theory-crafting involved in determining these optimum selections. Min/maxers increase a raid's ability to efficiently traverse difficult PvE encounters.

    What is Elitism?
We define elitism as behavior that insinuates superiority over others because of knowledge, gear, skill, level, status, title, wealth, achievements to name a few examples. We do what we do because we enjoy the rush of overcoming a challenge, not because we want to elevate ourselves. We keep our awesome to ourselves.

    What if I have questions?
PM Daetlus or Darkangelo on swtor.com, join Ventrilo, or post them on our recruitment thread.

How to Join: Click here. to apply at our website. After you apply, we'll ask any preliminary questions we might have, await your responses, and then if we haven't determined you wouldn't be a good fit, we'll ask you to join us in Ventrilo for a two-way Q&A and personality guild panel interview. We typically extend invites to those that are a great fit to the guild a few minutes afterward.

Our group springs from one of the longest running guilds in WoW. As our leader is a enthustiastic Star Wars fan we have decided as a group to move on to SWTOR. Our core is strong and talented. Despite being close and tightknit we have always taken in new members who became fast friends. We are very dedicated to making a strong push PvE and PvP wise into SWTOR and are recruiting people who desire to make lasting friendships and to become one of the best guilds on our server.

We expect from our members a forums and websites presence, as well as a working mic and vent.

Hardcore (20+ hrs/week), endgame content, scheduled play sessions, voice chat requirement, forum and website usage required, chatty/talkative.

Looking for Adversary guild? (Yes or no):No
Approximate number of guild members at this time: 146 (over 500 lifetime members)

The following is just a short list of what to expect as a part of the kajidic:

    • 500+ Lifetime Members
    • 18+ Age Requirement
    • High Membership Activity
    • Strong Leadership
    • 300+ Slot Raidcall Server
    • PvP Dominance
    • Exceptional Skills
    • Much More!

    Our current alliance chapters:

    • Bullies
    • Darkened Lords
    • Legends
    • Black Mantis
    • DTS/Wolfpack
    • Azulus (All Female)

    General Info
Kajidic is a premier PvP World-based alliance guild intended to dominate the universe for Star Wars The Old Republic. We excel in PvP and, as such, most of our time is spent kicking the crap out of any Foe. Any PvE we do is done to simply get better gear to use in PvP. Our organization consists of more than one guild that represents their name as a chapter within the Kajidic Union. Such unity is built on strong relationships between guilds from the past.

    Purpose
Our main purpose is to create as much death, destruction and chaos as possible for any foe. While accomplishing that task, we try to have as much fun as possible while still playing in a highly charged, yet organized, atmosphere.

    Play Style
Kajidic members play a role in everything from grunt on the battlefield to leader of a raid against a capital city. We organize quickly and efficiently to accomplish the task at hand, and after we’ve emerged victorious we love to talk about our exploits before we load up the next battle or event.

    Philosophy
The leaders are 100% committed to the guild and to its members, and because of that, we expect a lot from our members. However, we give a lot to our members too so it’s definitely not a one-way street! Guildies always have priority over non-guildies, so any rewards and group spots will always go to Kajidic members first and foremost.

When the time comes for battle and your name is called to join our ranks on the battlefield, you will be expected to carry your weight and pay attention to what’s going on. We count on you to be there and you will be able to count on us to cover your back as well.

As your skill improves, your dedication to the guild becomes more apparent, and your playtime remains consistent, you will be given the opportunity for more privilege and responsibility in the guild. You may, of course, turn promotions down without fear of punition if you do not wish to take on the extra responsibility that comes with promotion.

Lastly, we love to have fun! Some players may wish to RP a bit and that’s fine with us. But be advised that we’re not a RP guild. Whatever you like to do when you play, feel free to do it as long as you’re not violating any part of the Code of Conduct below.

Requirements (Note: Raidcall requirements and activity/participation prior to launch will be more casual. However, this may change as we get closer to Beta and Launch. Following launch, requirements to maintain membership may expand and will be strictly enforced)

    • You must have Raidcall and a microphone. Raidcall is free and can be downloaded from the Raidcall website.
    • Maturity is a must. Because of that, we ask that our players be at least 18 and preferably 20 or older. Younger applicants will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
    • You must remain active. Play the game as often as you can. We know that real life takes precedence over any game, but if you’re inactive, especially without prior notice, for long periods of time you could lose your rank or even your membership in the guild entirely! Remaining active until SWTOR launches is also being looked at. We have plenty of ways for members to stay active in our guild until opening day including: playing another game (WAR, WoW, DAoC, CoX, etc) with other Kajidic members, playing Warhammer , if you have access, with Kajidic members, post on our forums, and just logging onto Ventrilo to get to know us. Also, we request members check the guild site at least once a week for new news and info, ideas, suggestions and events.
    • Members are required to have their main character in Kajidic. Alts generally will be accepted, but not allowed in Kajidic events except in specific situations.
    • Communication is very important. If you receive a 'Roll Call' email from any Officer, please respond with your status. This will help us to organize and will allow us to know who is available for various guild activities and pursuits.

    Recruitment

If you wish to apply be sure to put in the most spectacular application of your life. So in no way feel discouraged from applying if you do not plan on playing a particular class we may be looking for. Also, if you don't get accepted now, don't feel shut out! Feel free to apply again at a later date! Note: Please mention what chapter you wish to apply for.

    Code of Conduct
Keep foul language in check. While everyone is going to drop an “f-bomb” from time to time, excessive foul language is HIGHLY frowned upon. The English language has a plethora of worthwhile nouns, verbs and adjectives. Please take the time to learn some of them.

Remain respectful. Treat your fellow guild mates and players with respect. They deserve it from you and you deserve it from them. If you have a problem with a player, in or out of the guild, respect the players around you and especially the guild by taking it to tells, or by letting an officer of the guild know in private so they can handle it. Do not get into a flame war or argument over public or guild chat channels, and do not berate any player publicly.

Remain calm. PvP can get very heated and the desire to throw out criticism usually runs high. However, it can easily turn into something that does more harm than good. Destructive criticism is not allowed and you will be called on it if you do it. However, constructive criticism is not only welcomed, but it is encouraged! Helping your fellow guild mates is always a plus.

Thieves need not apply. Ninja looting is not tolerated on any level. You will get a fair shake at making your case, but if you are found guilty of ninja looting you will be removed from the guild immediately and your name will be noted with other guilds in our alliance.

Keep our Reputation great. We’ve spent a lot of time building and maintaining a great reputation and we want to keep it that way. Use common sense and think about what you say before you say it. If it’s something that would cause you to think less of someone or would reflect poorly on his or her guild, then it probably shouldn’t be said or it might need to be worded differently. When you’re grouping with other players and other guilds, act accordingly so you not only reflect positively on yourself, but on Kajidic as a whole as well!

What type of guild are we in SW:TOR?:
In Star Wars we are really looking to bump things up a notch and establish a “hard-core” raid setting with a social guild mentality out side of our raid schedule. We want to position ourselves as one of the guilds that is in fierce competition for server firsts. In terms of what this means for our raiders/applicants is that you will always be watched as to be sure you are always improving yourself and a certain amount of constant raid attendance and readiness is required at all times.

    Through strength, I gain power.
    Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
    The Force shall free me.

    Notorious

We are a hardcore guild focused on doing endgame content. Various raid members have a plethora of experience with raiding in previous MMO's that go as far as back as the start of World of Warcraft. We have now decided to move our PvE activities to Star Wars: The Old Republic and are looking for additional members to strengthen our ranks and allow us to progress through whatever Bioware decides to throw at us.

    Community
The officers and founding members of Notorious have been playing videogames together for years. Not only limited to World of Warcraft, we have played as a team in games such as Battlefield, Call of Duty, Team Fortress, League of Legends and Left 4 Dead. All in all we have become a tight little community and looking to expand our group with capable players.

    Goals
No matter what game we play, we strive towards excellence. We expect every single member of our group to play his/her best. Not unlike any other game we play, we expect to clear every challenge the game throws at us, this includes clearing Flashpoints and Operations on the highest difficulty setting. All in all we plan on doing our best to attain a place at the top of our server.

    Policy
Notorious doesn't have a lot of rules. We do not care much about public perception, neither do we care much about the extent of the jokes made in the guild chat. Meaning that our members are required to possess a certain level of maturity and possibly even a thick skin. Crass jokes will be the order of the day and we expect everyone to laugh. Or else.

    Recruitment
As stated before, we are looking for more players to join us in the game. Of course we have a few criteria for our prospective members, but if you are:

At least 16 years of age and capable of taking a joke.
A skilled player with previous some form of MMO raiding experience.
Patient enough to play through the game up until you've beaten it on the hardest difficulty.
Capable of taking constructive criticism and do additional research into your class to improve your game.
Willing to stay as long as it takes in order to secure a kill.

Then this is a guild looking for you.

Our current recruitment status is as follows.

    Class
    Bounty Hunter, Mercenary - Low
    Bounty Hunter, Powertech - Medium
    Imperial Agent, Operative - Medium
    Imperial Agent, Sniper - Low
    Sith Inquisitor, Assassin - Low
    Sith Inquisitor, Sorcerer - Medium
    Sith Warrior, Juggernaut - Medium
    Sith Warrior, Marauder - Low

    Role
    DPS - Low
    Healers - High
    Tanks - Medium

    Operations
So you might like to know what days we would like to spend doing Operations (or Raids as they are known in other MMOs). We have been doing some discussion on the forums about this, and while these days are subject to change, I'll post our schedule as it stands now:

    Wednesday: 19:00 - 23:00 GMT+0
    Thursday: 19:00 - 23:00 GMT+0
    Sunday: 19:00 - 23:00 GMT+0

We will also keep a reserve day that we can use if we are close to an important kill or whatnot.

Members are also expected to be able to participate in 100% of the Ops, of course we understand if you aren't able to make it due to real life issues. Therefor we are maintaining a 75% attendance requirement.

    Website
Applying for the guild can be done through the forums on our website. Our page on the official site can be found here. Our own site is currently still under construction and will be updated regularly over the next few weeks.

    In Closing
We hope to see your applications in the near future and it would be even better to have you as a part of our guild at launch.

    Guild name: Proprietary
    Website url: proprietary-guild.com
    GM Name: Tryte
    Faction: Republic
    Time Zone: EST
    Server type : PVE
Looking for Ally guild? Not at this moment
Looking for Adversary guild? Not at this moment
Approximate number of guild members at this time: 22
Description of who you are and what you are looking for: Experienced raiders not looking for a job.

    Who are we?

Proprietary is a guild formed by a group of real life, former military friends who want to push progression in SW:TOR as hard as possible while still maintaining a casual pace. This group has been gaming together since Everquest Original and has seen or participated in every facet of most MMO's released since 99'. Years of pushing content in server first guilds in EQ to top 20 World guilds in WOW has left us with a drive to see the newest content and kill it as efficiently as possible. BUT the flying monkeys, wives, family, and life have stunted our ability to raid 24/7. (Yeah, we hate them too)

Proprietary was formed to gather a dedicated and skilled group of players to push content and provide a stress free, fun, and laid back place to spend your game time.

    What we do?!

Focus on getting everything a guild needs going. We will need dedicated crafters and class guides. The current founders of Proprietary have a good understanding of the different class mechanics now but will eventually name others to take that role.

We are doing this for the guild and its reputation. We will not cater to you individually but we will also ensure you have the necessary knowledge to progress in the game. While we don't expect everyone to be an expert at his or her class, or know the ins and outs of every "dungeon", we do expect you to seek out information and be proactive at learning the encounters. Ideally, we want to experience and accomplish whatever is out there together. If you feel you need to be #1, ie., leveling, flashpoints, etc., great, but if it requires you leaving your guildmates in the dust or excluding them, you'll be burned at the stake.

Our raid schedule (highly depending on how the content is released) is three days a week for three hour raids:

    Sunday 5-8
    Tuesday 7-10
    Thursday 7-10

100% attendance isn't mandatory, however, any guild member should be able to attend the majority of raids. As there is a lack of info on SW:TOR Ops, information/requirements on consumables will be added at a later date.

    What we don't do?

In short? The older we get the less we tolerate stupid. We don't accept or tolerate forums trolls, chat champions or downright douchebags (especially within the guild). We will never penalize anyone for asking a question but we will if you don't. This isn't a job for any of us so the officer staff shouldn't have to spend hours smoothing over the shit guild members say to other players.

What to expect from the inside?
If you get accepted guild chat is very much like a Michael Richards stand-up routine. We aren't PC and we have thick skin. We expect not only acceptance but enjoyment of that kind of atmosphere. Respect will be given to all guild members, and if they aren't "in the mood", you will cease.

While we won't force you to help others, we highly encourage you to want to help your guildmates in any way you can. If you about to start an activity and you know it would be of benefit to another guildy, have the decency to invite him/her. If there are required steps to progress, such as flags, quests, and whatnot, these should be accomplished within the guild unless it is necessary to seek outside help. We're not trying to form a huge conglomerate of people to fill a raid roster. We're trying to build a community that raids. Take the time to know your guildmates and they WILL be there for you as long as you are there for them.

    Current Recruitment Needs:

    Jedi Knight
    Guardian 0
    Sentinal 1

    Jedi Consular
    Sage 0
    Shadow 1

    Smuggler
    Gunslinger 2
    Scoundrel 1

    Trooper
    Vanguard 1
    Commando 1

    Applicant Requirements:

All applicants will meet the minimum requirements unless related to or a friend of a current guild member.
All applicants will know their class, understanding that the mechanics will be new to most people, you should strive to understand all aspects of your skill trees and how to use them.
All applicants will understand basic MMO mechanics and know how to utilize them in a raid environment, ie., not standing in fire or breaking CC.
All applicants should be able to get along (even with those they don't like) with everyone. (Basic social skills )
All applicants will take the time to get to know their guild members.
All applicants will attend most of the raids.
All applicants must learn how to use Mumble

Aureus Knights - Family Friendly, Mature and Fun Focused Guild (US-PVP)

    Guild name: Aureus Knights
    Website url: aureusknights.com
    GM Name: RJO
    Faction: Republic
Time Zone (US East, US West, EU): EST
Server type (PvP, PvE, RP): PVP
    Looking for Ally guild? Yes
    Looking for Adversary guild? No
Approximate number of guild members at this time: 50
Description of who you are and what you are looking for:

Aureus Knights is a guild of friends that began playing MMO's back in 1997 with Ultima Online. As a group of friends we'd go game to game, guild to guild playing the games we loved. In late 2006 though, we felt it best to build our own community. For us a community differs from a guild, because we are not built specifically for just one game, instead we travel thru various games together, and we found that for us, it makes us a much stronger community for it.

Aureus Knights is built on the principles of Respect, Honor, Loyalty and Friendship. Rule number one for The Knights is to treat people as you’d want to be treated. We use a fairly flat system of leadership where we have officers who are responsible for the day to day running of the guild but in the end they are just members – we are all equals here. This guild exists for its members and not for any other reason; we have no drama here, no power trips and none of that type of baggage that sometimes comes with guilds.

We are a family friendly guild that puts real life and family ahead of our games; We are a serious guild who loves to work end game but we will not do it at the cost of our membership's personal lives.

    What are the rules?

    • Treat Others As You'd Like To Be Treated
    • Everyone Has Their Moments... Just Don't Make Them Every Second Moment
    • Respect This Guild, Respect Its Reputation, Don't Make Us Look bad.
    • Loot is always need before greed in AKS. You want to be a loot ninja, we'll ninja your guild access

    What does AKS Offer?

The AKS core group and officers are knowledgeable gamers who enjoy helping other players. So right off the bat you have a good core group of people to play with who want to make sure that all AKS members feel welcome and enjoy the games they play to the fullest extent. A few benefits provided by AKS:

    • Forums
    • Ventrilo Voice Server
    • In-Game Communication Channels
    • Game Specific Resources (Anything from quest help to a guild bank, etc)
    • Organized Events
    • A well run and fun guild
    • Officers who know their game and are always willing to help
    • A Quarterly Newsletter
    • A recently launched Podcast we are aiming to do twice a month.
    • Involvement in other games during downtimes. (Team Fortress, Battlefield Bad Company, Civ, League of Legends among others)

    Leadership & Structure:

AKS likes to keep it simple. In the past we've seen politics destroy guids, people's enjoyment of games and even friendships that were deeply rooted outside of gaming. To avoid this we maintain a flat structure with two levels; Officer and Member.

Being an Officer doesn't make anyone different then any member within the guild. The function of the officer is simply to help administer the day to day business of the guild and have a say in policy discussions and decisions whenever they are required. We believe also that members should have the right to vote on issues of importance and the Officership of the guild will do its best to make sure votes are held where appropriate (voting is NOT always the answer - basic decisions do not require a United Nations style debate and are up to the officer team to discuss and decide)

As a large guild that spans multiple games over many years we also occasionally move officers to "retired status". Officers who are in retired status are viewed as elder statesmen within the guild's leadership team. They do not have any active officer access in games but still participate in votes and discussions amongst the officer team. We maintain the "retired status" to ensure we keep tabs on who is active within our games at a given time in order to ensure optimal officer levels.

All new officers undergo a 90 day trial period where they are given basic coaching by existing officers. Officers who quit a game they are assigned to during their trial will be returned to member status.

    How to become a member:

We highly recommend that you visit our website: aureusknights.com, and make a post introducing yourself

    Sith & Republic Factions?

In the past we have always limited ourselves to a single faction in a game, however we spent several months discussing our approach to SWTOR. Our feeling is that the story lines are a central selling point to the game, and we wanted members to be able to experience whichever one they wanted, without a limit. This was a core piece to our decision to support both factions.

Once we established that we wanted to make that happen, we had to make sure that we were committed to supporting each chapter as if it was a stand alone entity. This meant officers, members, events, recruitment, and so on. When we determined that we had the level of commitment needed, we decided to go forward in this direction. This wasnt something we jumped into, this is the result of thought and discussion.

What is the benefit of a two faction guild?

We feel it allows you to not have to make a compromise. Pick the class you want, the story you want, and you still have your guild with you. If you want to roll an alt with the other faction, feel free, you will still be able to play with many of the same members. If you enjoy the community, then you can have your cake and eat it too!

You'll have an opportunity to participate events for both factions.

    Who we are:

Chosen of WoW US-Firetree server. We have been an active guild for over 7 years, and still raid today. At level 60, we finished in the top 50 guilds in the world. Since then we have remained among the top guilds on the server, while having a relaxed raid schedule. With practically no turnover in members, a fact we are extremely proud and humbled by, we were able to solidify the leadership and teamwork needed to excel in PvE and PvP content. We are planning to pursue SW:TOR with extreme voracity and are aiming for server firsts. We are all diverse and mature players, and consider ourselves "Professional Raiders" as our second careers.

We are open to both hardcore players, and more casual players who are looking for a "guild family". All players contribute something into making us who we are.

Our two basic principals are trust in each other, and respect for all players. We pride ourselves on keeping a zero drama environment while accommodating to every type of player.

    About Sick Sense

The guild Sick Sense was created in May 2009 as a raiding guild in World of Warcraft. The leaders have alot of experience of World of Warcraft raiding which we are now going to use moving into Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Sick Sense has been a home for hardcore raiders in World of Warcraft and we are now looking to expand and become a highly ranked guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Our goal is to down the final bosses as soon as possible before any new content is released.

We take MMORPG's seriously, especially when it comes to PvE. As a fairly high ranked World of Warcraft guild we established friendship and sportsmanship. We are always looking to improve, wether it is to increase our DPS by just a little bit, or help our friends get better in any way possible.

The guild emphasises the high importance of social relations between guild members. As such, there is zero-tolerance towards drama and flaming. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as long as this does not constitute personal attacks, insults and other forms of mistreatment.

Don't be scared though, this is not a hostile environment. Quite the contrary, by keeping up our principles and rules we have brewed a lively and friendly community which supports, and enhances, the quality of playing SW:ToR for everyone in the guild.

    Operations Schedule

Post Mos Eisley Globetrotters RP-PVE Weekend Raiders

    Guild name: Mos Eisley Globetrotters
(would not allow me to post a full link)
    GM Name: Mastahkilla
    Faction: Republic
Time Zone (US East, US West, EU): US West
Server type (PvP, PvE, RP): RP-PVE
Looking for Ally guild? (Yes or no) Yes, possibly. (would like to hold off until I meet them in-game)
Looking for Adversary guild? (Yes or no) No, not at the moment.
Approximate number of guild members at this time: 5, but the game hasn't launched so I'm anticipating more or less at launch.
Description of who you are and what you are looking for: Were a few real life friends who have years of experience gaming together and have decided to make a guild to make new friends, go on adventures and just have an all around good time together. We are looking for quality individuals, be mature, laid back, respectful of others, and reliable. Treat others like you would want to be treated. Were looking to cap at around 20 members, to have just enough for a core raiding team and a few alternates. We want everyone in the guild to know each other and not just be seen as a number. The guilds main focus is weekend raiding (pve) with a bit of pvp on the side. I'm not looking to run a hardcore guild and instead opting to run a more casual type of environment for the members. We cateogrize ourselves as "light" RP (We don't force you to RP but, be respectful to other Rper's.) Your not required to play a certain amount of hours or anything like that! Also, we all have lives outside of gaming and we understand if you have to take off or can't make it to an event, but all we ask is that if you cannot make it and stay for the allotted time let us know ahead of time. If you are going to go inactive let us know ahead of time. That's all we ask, just let us know and we can make it work. I am going to post our official guild recruitment information below.

About us: We are real life friends who have played many games together ranging from many different categories. Some of us are SWG Pre-CU vets, where others are avid FPS players. Our experience ranges from many mmo's, which include: EQ, Vanguard, FFXI, WoW, Rift, and the list goes on. We are in our mid to late twenties, some of us work, and some of us are in school. We intend to keep the guild small because of the tight-knit atmosphere it provides. Our goal is to provide a fun, friendly, and helpful atmosphere with a core group of people to explore all content. Membership will be capped at 20 members for now. We will re-open membership if the need arises. "Quality over quantity."

REQUIREMENTS: Age 20+ (exceptions can be made on case by case basis, as long as you fit into the criteria I don't see any problem. The reason we put 20+ is because were all in our mid to late 20's). Be mature, laid back, respectful of others, and reliable. Treat others like you would want to be treated.

Voice Comm.: As of right now were unsure if they will implement voice communications within the game itself. If they do, then we will probably use that. Otherwise, we normally use Skype. We have used Ventrillo and TS, and these programs are great it's just our preference to use Skype. If you don't have a mic, have the ability to listen and follow directions.

Raiding: Yes, we will be involved in raiding but we are not a hardcore raiding guild. We are weekend raiders. Specific raid times have not been established although we expect afternoon and evening times in the PST time zone on SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS (we might add another day if the need arises). Were not going to rush into these raids, the raids will be there when we get there, so let's just enjoy the game until then. This doesn't mean that we aren't going to take raiding seriously when were in an encounter. We are laid-back, but when it comes down to crunch time we do our best to pull through.

Raid Times: We will be raiding Saturday's in the afternoon/evening and Sundays in the afternoon. If the demand is high enough we MIGHT add another day during the week.

Please note: We are not going for world firsts. If we do, that's great, but were not going to go out of our way to achieve these. We do however expect to be effective and successful in the raiding scene once we get there. Previous raiding experience is not required but always welcome. Requirements: have common sense, the willingness to learn, be open-minded, and the ability to listen.

PVE/Dungeons: Were going to be running all the content when we can and heck, we might even run them multiple times. We want to experience all that the game has to offer. Of course were not going to run a dungeon 5 million times in a day, what I mean is that we will run dungeons more than once if we so desire over a vast majority of time.

Attendance: We know real life responsibilities outweigh the game itself and so if something comes up we understand. All we ask is to give us some sort of notice, not just disappear out of no where for a month. Commitment is a valuable trait to have. If you say that you will be available for a certain event we expect you to be there unless we are notified. We will be lax about raiding, but not to the extent of never caring if you show up when you said that you will. If you can't make a raid, as long as you notify an officer there will be no problem.

Loot rules: once the game is closer to launch or when we find out we will update this, but generally it's the same as any other game. Don't roll on something you don't need or you won't use. And make sure it's something that IS for YOUR class i.e. don't roll on a blaster when your class doesn't even use them.

Player vs. Player: Yes, absolutely. We really enjoy team based pvp and you can count on us being involved in one way or another. Of course you are not obligated to pvp when we do, its just an option for you to do so.

Roleplay: It is encouraged to all members seeing as this is an MMORPG. Even though we are light RP we ask all members to respect the RP community and to not interrupt others RP events or otherwise, whether they are guildies or not. We are classifying under "light" RP but RP within guild chat is not mandatory. We will host RP events in-game. One thing though, keep the RP normal. What I mean by this is, don't role-play a half vampire/werewolf Jedi who arrived on the Jetson's vehicle from the planet Pluto.

Other: We were new to the mmorpg genre once too. If you need help just ask and if someone is available they may come and provide assistance to an extent (were not going to do every little thing for you). Just remember, we aren't your personal butlers or maids. We will provide help whenever we can, but just don't expect us to just drop everything that we are doing to just come and help you whenever you ask. Also on that note, we don't tolerate begging or whining within the guild.

Smuggler - Gunslinger: Open Scoundrel: Open
    Trooper - Vanguard: OpenCommando: Open

Approximate number of guild members at this time: 6-10 (1 of 4 pre-ordered)

    About the guild

Our members were all once Jedi Masters or Padawans loyal to the Jedi Council. Each member has their own reason for walking the path to the Dark Side. We are not Sith, that term refers to a definite heritage of cult or ideology, we are simply Jedi who are now Dark Side practitioners.
We have a small council of leaders and when you rise to become a 'Dark Jedi Master' you may take an adept to be your Apprentice, for example, I have an apprentice who goes by the name 'Traaya', Grim on the other hand, hasn't decided on an Apprentice.

    Activities

    -Group missions
    -Master > Apprentice training
    -Much more....

We are not overly fussy when it comes to your method of communication, I do not use a mic, I prefer to type.

Our main goal is to find out what the final fate of Lord Revan was, obviously that is quite a high-level mission, but I'm confident that we wont have any trouble getting to such a level.

But we especially need people that have pre-ordered.
Current Members w/ rank and class:
-Lord Hessian (Dark Jedi Council Elder/Master) (Sith Warrior)
-Lord Grimlexx (Dark Jedi Council Elder/Master) (Undecided)
-Traaya (Dark Jedi Council Member/Apprentice) (Sith Warrior)
    -Jigsaaw (Adept) (Bounty Hunter)
    -Rainbow_Dash (Adept) (Bounty Hunter)
    -Optikz (Adept) (Sith Inquisitor)
    -DarthBrandonawsom (Adept) (Undecided)

What we expect from our members:

    -Hatred for the Jedi Order
