Audacity was formed in March of 2009 as a break from 'hardcore' raiding, back in WoW. If you had to classify us, Audacity is a semi-hardcore guild with a laid-back, fun atmosphere. <The Dreadnaughts> is a guild with a core of several real-life friends who have long experience playing previous MMO's including WOW together. We are a mature group of people who play the game for fun, and not as a second job. We believe the game should be there for a fun experience and not taken too seriously. We are located on the Grand Master Zym PvE realm and play Empire side. This realm is an Eastern realm, but we are largely located in the Central time zone.

As such, we run with a pretty loose set of rules, primarily just don't be an idiot towards guildies. Also, we have not yet begun to do endgame "operation" (raid) content but it is definitely on our radar for the not too distant future. However, if you don't want to do operations and just want an environment to socialize and do flashpoints, this is fine as well. At the moment we are only aiming at 8-man operations, but 16-mans are not entirely off the table just not on the current plans.

We all have extensive and successful experience in MMO end-game content. We may be casual in our play time but we notch things up to serious when we do operations. Anybody who comes along to an operation is expected to give it their all as well.

Once we have enough level 50's to start regular operations we will come up with a schedule that suits the majority of the guild in terms of operations. At this time we are thinking of starting with one weekend evening at around 9:00 central start time, and as time dictates may add an additional night or nights in the future.

We will have no "attendance requirements" or DKP system or any of the other heavyweight systems that we feel detract from the fun, social aspect of what we see a guild should be. All decisions are made by officer consensus with members' input valued in the process.

Who we are
The Republic Coterie (Repcot) is a newly formed guild on the Trask Ulgo EU server. We are mainly focusing on PVE operations and at the moment we are still short on members. Members of Repcot are expected to behave maturely and respectfully, especially towards those who wish to pursue the roleplaying part of the game. As of now we have not arranged or participated in RP events, but we do of course welcome roleplaying members.

Guild, party and operation chat channels are for us out-of-character, and this is not likely to change.

Our vision
Our main goal is to explore everything the game has to offer in terms of endgame PvE content. At the same time, we wish to maintain a relaxed and fun environment with the least amount of drama possible.

At first, we wish to build a core group of dedicated players that are eager to start progressing through endgame content. Our focus will be on defeating all the 8-man operations, and once we have nailed that, we will most likely open up recruitment to continue onwards to 16-man content. Although at this point in time we would much rather be progressing on 8-man nightmare difficulty than 16-man hard difficulty.

What are we looking for
We wish to keep the quality of our members high, and we also want to keep the total headcount at a level where everyone know each other. Having someone join and after a few weeks still feel as an outsider is something we dearly wish to avoid. Because of this we require a short application (see template on our website) and also a short trial period where you participate in flashpoints and/or operations with us.

You must have a microphone. We use voice communication (currently ventrilo, but that might change) and we can't have a few members who need to rely on written communication. Outside of operations joining voice communication is of course entirely optional.

We mainly want to recruit someone who has already reached level 50. However we make exceptions for excellent applications written by players we feel would make a good addition to our guild ranks.

What to expect
In The Republic Coterie you will be a valued member provided you adhere to our rules and respect our members and the other players on the server. Because of our small headcount you will almost always have a guaranteed spot for operations (we are still deciding on whether or not to have surplus operation members). You will be able to voice your concerns without fear of retribution, as long as you do it through the proper channels and avoid guild drama. You will play the game with mature guildmembers who have the same goals as you.

Gutted Ewok is about to start raiding as our number increase and we get enough people upto 50 and geared.
We are on the server Hydian Way which is an English PvE server and we are on the side of the Empire.

We are a friendly casual raiding guild who will be raiding 2 or 3 nights per week (mid week) with raids starting at 21:30/22:00 GMT. Until we have enough people geared to run 16 mans we will also be running 4 man's of all the Hard Mode Flashpoints to gear everyone up to a level to raid. We will be starting as an 8 man raiding team but will aim to get enough people to be running the 16 man operations very quickly.

Our aims are very simple, experience the end game content and have fun without drama or pressure, our raiding timetable will be light and we expect only that people treat each other with respect and enjoy themselves.

We were founded on 12/26/11 by a group of 4 real life friends. Hive was founded on the 15th Feb 2005 in World of Warcraft and is one of the oldest, most recognized guilds on Shadowsong EU. In World of Warcraft Hive has established itself as one of the top guilds on the realm and our goals are to experience as much of the end-game content as is possibly attainable, while still successfully managing real-life responsibilities.

As of 20 Dec 2011 some of our WoW players have moved over to SWtor, while others remained in WoW. As of this we now have Hive in SWtor as well next to our WoW guild. Different game, same guild, same goals!

Our total community has over 100+ active members from all walks of life, which make us a diverse wonderful culture all on our own. Hive is always trying to achieve the perfect balance between raid progression and socializing and have been around for over 6 years doing exactly that.

At the moment we are running 1 16man group and a 8man group on the side. Striving to achieve the best it can do, in the limited amount we raid, which is Wed/Thur/Sun (20:30 – 00:00). In the future there will be numerous 8man raids on “off nights” for those keen to raid more, and fields some PVP teams once PVP gets more organised in SWtor.
In anycase for both groups we expect that people play their best, and gear up the best they can.

There is some intermingling on the teams and some slow rotation, with the main goals of preventing raid burnouts. We also don’t keep official attendance records, but we do expect people to be committed.

We firmly believe RL > Game and we recruit the player not the pixels.
