Main reason why I'm human is that as a dwarf, I can't really show off tabards as well due to beards(a beardless male dwarf looks weird imo) and I like having shoes over hoof wrappings, so draenei is a no-go.

I would make an exception for tauren paladin though just because most plate looks really good on 'em, sans helmets. Half the time I don't use full-face helmets anymore though.

It's a nice set. I'd use Phoenix-Wing Cloak and Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Clasp of Cruelty myself.

By purple do you mean the first or the second tint? Can't check now.

If it's the first tint and you're looking for a comprehensive match, maybe something like:

Using the ToT DK recolor. Wasn't pleased with the cloak at first due to the yellow, but the trim gives the set a needed splash of color.
