for the 1000 time: doomguard DOES NOT getting buffed from the dmg-increase you gain, when activating your meta. this guardian only uses the gear-stats, and procs for your own stats.

I still see people waiting until Hero/Lust to pop their DG.

Some people like to pour on the DPS when it's needed in a burn phase instead of going all out at the raid's expense to have higher numbers on the meters.

In a fight with no burn phase / soft enrage (stacking damage), I pop DG at the beginning. With a burn phase, I wait until then.

That may be true but any good demo lock is using chalice and meta at the same time.

Yeah if I used a Theralion's Mirror I wouldn't be surprised at a 1.5M doomguard.

No. I start with felguard and switch only after ive recasted dots and consumed my procs if any. I am thinking about just waiting till after meta to switch demons due to the fact that switching is 3 gcd's.
1. Soulburn
2. Summon
3. Soul Link (Falls off sometimes and on baleroc especially you dont want it to fall off)

Hardcasting felguard is something I rarely do since it is easy to mess up and I generally am occupied in making chalice, mirror and meta line up properly. The only fights I do hardcast is the end of nef platform and rag/alysrazor transitions.

That's pretty weaksauce for using mirror and chalice I've gotten a doomgaurd up to 2million dmg using both just sayn.

Yeah mine hit 1.48 million on Staghelm this week, and I don't use the mirror.

To answer the question about my dg being so wimpy, I beilve that was the baleroc parse where I forgot to use him with MWC.

Logs or it didn't happen, and, my gear isn't all that great in the first place. You probably have the heroic mirror as well.
