Mages: The most underpowered class. Hands down.

So you found 1 class.... no wait... 1 spec, that could counter you out of 30 specs, and suddenly mages are totaly underpowered becos you dropped to a 2nd place?

And as the hunter said, the game isnt balanced around 1v1 or 2v2, some classes are just better at countering others.

This is ridiculous.

Aside from Resto druids frost mages are the most overpowered thing in pvp. Never seen other 2 used, but mage sickens me to the core.

As a mage/hunter player i can safely say hunters are about one and a half times harder to play than frostmages atm. Of-course it also depends on who you are dueling but spellsteal and counterspell are literally game breaking against hunters, that and polymorphing the pet, twice if it's a spider. That guy has no clue. Fun read tho, thanks for sharing.

After reading a few replies, i have to add that mages atm aren't overpowered at all. I mean sure, every now and then you get the odd one in full ruthless, but otherwise, you just have to know how to play the game. Yesterday in IOC there was this warrior who didn't spellreflect once, didn't fear me, he just stood there and took shatter combos like a boss. Are these the people who come whine on forums about frostmages?

Also you should've told him you were a girl, would've either made him cry harder or change his tone totally, i can see him being either one of those people who bows down to us female gamers like gods or one who rages even harder because "girls are teh sux at gaems and shuld stay in teh kitshun"

Yeah, the thought crossed my mind but I decided to not mess with him. I felt he was doing a good job of making himself look goofy enough already. Though I was a sarcastic there at the end :>
